Officer Miller put the picture frame down in his hand when he saw Boyce. He walked over to Boyce and said, “Come over here and have a seat.” He pulled Boyce to sit on the couch.

When they were outside, Officer Miller asked them not to fire him and returned alone.

Regardless of what had happened before, they all felt sad and reluctant when Officer Miller left. They were fond of him after having been his subordinates for so long.

Boyce stood at the door as he dismissed Officer Miller. He, too, was feeling very upset.

In the evening, Boyce went to take Elizabeth to the hospital when he finished his work.

At the time, the doctor was doing a check-up, so Boyce did not push the lady into the room, but waited outside.

Armand was forwarded to the ward and Elizabeth followed them.

She was heartbroken to see her grandson in an unconscious state and looking pale.

She held his hand and cried again.

“Armand, please wake up, why are you leaving me in such fear of losing you when I am so old?” Elizabeth was so distraught that she didn’t give the impression of her usual self. It was truly a shock to her to see Armand’s current situation.

Theresa poured Elizabeth a glass of water, “Drink some water.” Elizabeth lifted her head and gave Theresa a look.
