Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 1177

"I know you hate Conrad. If you ever get the chance to kill him, I hope you won't."

"You've never been in my shoes. Don't preach to me about what's right. Do you

think just because he's my father, I should spare him?"

"I'm not asking you to spare him. He's a beast, but you're human. Ruining your life

for someone like him isn't worth it unless you think your life has lost all its

meaning. If that's the case, killing him might bring you some relief. But I believe

you still want to live. If you kill him on impulse, you'll regret it later."

"What should I do then? Let him live as if nothing happened?"

"Who said staying alive is a blessing? Sometimes, living is the worst punishment."noveldrama

Lara sneered at Conrad, who was eager to snatch the gun in her hand.

"Boss, I've made up my mind," she said. "I want him to live."

Drake was surprised, but she continued, "I want him to live in hell."

She then slashed Conrad's wrist with a knife, causing him to howl in pain.

"Hand over the Sharp family, or I'll cut your other hand," she demanded.

"Okay. You can have it all," Conrad cried, scrambling backward in fear.

Lara threw the prepared transfer agreement onto the floor. Conrad scribbled his

name down immediately.

The agreement was prepared by Debra for her. This was what the Sharp family

owed her.

After she picked up the agreement, Conrad stammered, "I've given you

everything. Let me go. I'm your father."

Lara plunged the blade between his legs. He was not hurt, but it was close

enough to scare him out of his pants.

"Mr. Sharp," she said calmly, "if you can't control yourself, I'll take care of it for

you."

The knife came down, and blood spattered everywhere.

For Conrad, women were his greatest pleasure, and the Sharp family was his

strongest shield. Now Lara had just taken both away.

Debts had to be repaid. He had

fathered countless illegitimate

daughters and used them to gain

power. And he discarded his women

like trash. He was nothing but a

beast.

Now Lara agreed with Debra. She

couldn't kill Conrad, not because he

was her father. Rather, he wasn't

worth dirtying her hands.

Her future was bright. She couldn't ruin it for someone like him.

Kale came up. "We'll handle the rest. You can go now."

Lara nodded and left with the agreement.

Kale turned to Drake. "Boss, are we just letting her take over the Sharp family like

this?"

"It was hers to begin with," Drake

replied, glancing at Conrad, who had

passed out from the pain. "The

wicked always get what's coming to

them. Meeting Debra was just

karma catching up to him."
