Holt sent more crushed rocks spinning out, encased in dark energy as they hurtled toward Wilbur. Wilbur backed up quickly at the sight, channeling his dragon aura once more to form a dragon aura storm.

The crushed rocks decreased in speed upon coming into contact with the dragon aura storm before stopping around a meter from Wilbur.

Holt darted up behind the crushed rocks, his gaze cold. "You might have been able to take one of my attacks, but how about a second one?"

Just as Holt finished his sentence, he struck the crushed rocks once more. The powerful dark energy exploded at once as countless crushed rocks flew out. Just then, the Light Helmet on Wilbur's head sensed the threat and activated a light barrier that covered him completely so the crushed rocks bounced away harmlessly.

Wilbur looked around, but Holt was nowhere to be seen. All of a sudden, a wave of dark energy descended around Wilbur in the shape of a ball with Holt standing on top of it. "You're not getting away this time!"

Holt let out a roar of fury, channeling all his dark energy into the ball. It began to spin, sucking the crushed rocks into itself.

All the crushed rocks began flying towards the energy ball as the entire space seemed to be filled with a powerful dark aura. As Holt's spirit senses exploded, the black miasma in the air began to form a series of black swords.noveldrama

There were at least hundreds of swords in the air, spinning around the black energy ball with their blades pointed towards it.

"Hahahaha!" Holt laughed maniacally, then began to activate his skill and absorbed the dark aura around him. Following that, all the black swords in the air flew right into the energy ball at once.

Within the blink of an eye, the swords had stabbed the energy ball. The next second, however, a loud explosion filled the air as the energy ball exploded and a dark aura spread out.

White light appeared in the center of where the dark energy ball had once been. Wilbur's light barrier had not disappeared, and he was completely unharmed.

"What?"

Holt widened his eyes in disbelief, and shock flashed in the Dark Messenger's gaze as he shouted, "The bastard! I forgot the Light Gloves could absorb dark energy! It appears that you won't be able to kill Wilbur on your own anymore, Holt. Let me take it from here."

The Dark Messenger darted up to the light barrier, reaching out toward it. As soon as the tip of his finger touched the light barrier, it dissolved to nothingness within the blink of an eye.

The Dark Messenger grabbed Wilbur by the neck, raising him into the air while staring coldly at him. "It's rather unbelievable that a cultivator from a lower dimension could drain a tenth of my power. You should be honored to be dying at my hands. Now, it's time for you to accept your fate!"

The Dark Messenger grabbed Wilbur with his left hand, and a black sword appeared in his right hand. He tossed Wilbur into the air, but Wilbur muttered a chant at the very last second, activating Aura Return. Wilbur then found himself at the exit of the underground palace instantly.
