Wilbur has recovered five of the fragments, and he's here in Alik to search for the sixth."

Holt fell silent for a moment, then asked, "Honorable Dark Messenger, could there possibly be a more powerful being than the Dark Lord on this planet?"

"I don't know. I've never encountered them before. It's possible."

"If that's the case, why doesn't the Dark Lord ask for their help to send him back to the middle dimension?"

The Dark Messenger glared at Holt, who promptly shut up and lowered his head. The taxi driver was a believer of the Church of Holy Illuminati in Alik, and he sent the Dark Messenger and Holt to the dock.

The three of them rented a ship as well and sailed off into the sea.

The Dark Messenger stood up, feeling the breeze on his face as he smiled and turned to Holt. "Bernal's death is going to cause you quite a bit of trouble. From what I know, the Old Pope, Augheimer, has vowed to kill you personally. This time, he's going to wipe you out as a matter of the church's internal affairs."

Holt sneered, shrugging his shoulders. "I knew this day would come from the start. I just thought that I'd have the help of the Cold Lord in taking Augheimer down and gaining control over the church. I didn't expect things to turn out like this."

The Dark Messenger smiled. "The Cold Lord's hardly anything. Now that you're my puppet, you'll naturally be one of my servants once I become an evil god. Once that happens, I can make you ten times as powerful as you are now."
