There were twelve Immortals in the universe, which meant that there would be twelve evil gods in the chaotic realm.

The chaotic realm and the universe were not completely separated, as both shared dimensions as well. Those twelve Immortals had appeared in this overlapping dimension, as did the ancient formation that unlocked the positions of the twelve evil gods.noveldrama

The Dark Lord had not known about this at first and was delighted to find out about it. The twelve positions of the evil gods proved that evil gods were cultivators who ascended, which meant that the Dark Lord had the choice to not be a slave to someone else.

The Dark Lord firmly believed that being a servant meant that you were restricted under the control of another, despite how powerful you became. However, being a powerful cultivator was a different case where you would have all the control you wanted.

No one wanted to be a servant or a slave. There were countless cultivators in the middle and upper dimensions who wanted to grow more powerful to become a dimension guardian, which the Dark Lord found rather laughable. Becoming a dimension guardian would not grant one immortality!

Becoming a dimension guardian was nothing more than a lie the twelve Immortals of the universe had fabricated. These people would foolishly live the rest of their lives out in a lie, whereas becoming an evil god would make you immortal. Surely no one could resist something like that!

Unfortunately, none of the puppets of the evil gods were willing to help the Dark Lord. Even Bahamut, the weakest out of the evil gods, would rather give up ever setting foot on Earth again than work with the Dark Lord.

The thought made the Dark Lord clench his fists. "Those eight bastards. Well, let's hope none of them show up after I activate the dark energy of the ancient formation, or I'll be sure to absorb all of their powers.

Despite the fact that there was only hatred and bloodshed between evil gods, the Dark Lord was still rather disappointed that he had not been able to get any of them on his side.

Over in the magical tower, Wilbur continued to cultivate. His mind replayed what happened after he had activated the Dragon Spell and the Dragon Move and managed to find out the weaknesses of the two cultivation methods after breaking things down.

The Dragon Spell and Dragon Move were obviously capable of killing a weak opponent quickly, but they were greatly lacking if they were used against an elite. Wilbur might still have the ninth level of the Dragon Move to improve to, but he had been unsuccessful in doing so despite many tries. Thus, Wilbur decided to start with the Dragon Spell.

As long as he cultivated the Dragon Spell and raised its level, he might have a shot at defeating the opponent on the ninth floor of the magical tower. Wilbur remembered how he had activated the Dragon Spell during his battle with Adam, and how quickly Adam had been able to figure out its overall strengths and weaknesses.

That was why Adam had been able to defend himself so well. How was Wilbur going to prevent that? Wilbur thought about it for five years, and on one fine morning, his eyes suddenly flew open as an idea hatched in his mind.

Wilbur had thought that real magical dragons hid at the backmost layer of the clouds, concealing themselves to strike out all of a sudden.

However, there was still a certain amount of distance between the clouds and the ground. A well-trained cultivator would quickly be able to spot the dragon as soon as it emerged from the clouds.

If there was a way to make the dragon invisible and only show itself when attacking, that would make it much easier to confuse the opponent and render them helpless in guessing the direction the dragon would attack from.

Wilbur opened his hand, and a white dragon appeared forged out of dragon aura. He stared at it, and the dragon vanished.
