Immediately, the black clouds in the cave rapidly gathered around the snake man, with dark energy continuously pouring into his body. The snake man coldly stared at Wilbur and said, "It seems I've underestimated you. You are stronger than those ignorant adventurers."

As he spoke, the snake man absorbed the last of the black clouds into his body. His body began to grow rapidly, reaching three meters in height, with his entire body covered in strong muscles and black snake scales. Though he had a humanoid form, his body was covered in black snake scales.

Recalling his previous battle with the bat monster, Wilbur knew he could not afford to be careless. He wanted to confirm one thing. With a flip of his right hand, the Magic Dragon Blade appeared, and he swung it at the snake man. As he spoke, the snake man raised his right hand, and a black energy ball appeared in his palm. The ball quickly grew from palm-sized to a massive boulder floating in the air.

The snake man hurled the energy ball. Seeing this, Wilbur took a deep breath, clenched his right fist, and unleashed his most powerful Dragon Spell move.

A golden dragon materialized and charged directly at the black energy ball. As they collided, a massive explosion shook the entire mountain. The cave trembled violently as rocks began to fall from the ceiling, threatening to collapse Emerald Mountain.

Ignoring the impending collapse, Wilbur and the snake man locked eyes and simultaneously charged at each other. In the narrow cave, they engaged in close combat. Wilbur's punches landed on the snake man's body, but the snake man's black scales shifted, negating half of the force, with the remaining energy dissipated by the scales themselves.

The snake man countered with a punch to Wilbur's chest, sending him crashing into the cave wall. Wilbur quickly recovered and launched another attack on the snake man.

Meanwhile, a woman sat weeping several kilometers away from Emerald Mountain, looking toward its direction and crying out in anguish.
