Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir)

The quiet of the camp settled around Aurora like a heavy blanket, but inside, her thoughts churned, restless and unrelenting. She had tried to distract herself with tasks and preparations, but the memory of Cassian's touch, his words, his presence, refused to fade. As the hours stretched on, sleep eluded her. With a sigh, she pushed herself upright from the small cot, wrapping a cloak around her shoulders. The cool night air might calm her restless thoughts or so she hoped.

She stepped outside, her bare feet brushing against the soft ground as she made her way toward the edge of the camp. The sky above was a blanket of stars, their light muted by the soft glow of the moon. "Aurora."

She turned sharply at the sound of her name, her heart racing as Cassian emerged from the shadows. He was dressed simply, his hair slightly disheveled as though he hadn't slept either.

"I thought you'd be asleep," he said, his voice low and warm.

"I could say the same about you," she replied, pulling the cloak tighter around herself.

Cassian stepped closer, his gaze steady but cautious. "Couldn't stop thinking."

"About what?"

His lips curved into a faint smile. "You."

The word hung in the air between them, its weight undeniable. Aurora felt her breath catch, her chest tightening as he closed the remaining distance.

Cassian reached out, his fingers brushing against hers. The touch was light, almost tentative, but it sent a spark through her that she couldn't ignore.

"Aurora," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "If this is too much, tell me. I'll stop."

Her gaze met his, and for a moment, she saw the vulnerability hidden beneath his strength-the unspoken question in his eyes. She took a shaky breath, her heart pounding in her ears.

"I don't want you to stop," she said, her voice trembling but resolute.noveldrama

Cassian's expression softened, a flicker of relief passing over his face before he leaned in, his lips brushing against hers. The kiss was slow at first, hesitant, as though he were afraid of overwhelming her. But as she responded, her hands sliding up to his shoulders, it deepened.

His arms encircled her, pulling her closer as their bodies pressed together. Aurora felt the warmth of him, the steady beat of his heart against her own as the kiss grew more urgent.

They stumbled backward, their movements uncoordinated but unrelenting as they found themselves inside her quarters. Cassian kicked the door shut behind them, his lips never leaving hers as his hands roamed her back, anchoring her to him.

Aurora's fingers tangled in his hair, her breaths coming in short gasps between kisses. The cloak slipped from her shoulders, forgotten as his hands slid down to her waist, gripping her firmly.

"You're sure?" he asked, his voice rough and laced with restraint.

"Yes," she breathed, her voice steady despite the storm of emotions coursing through her. "I'm sure."
