Chapter 487 So He Really Had Evidence
When Stellan saw so many surveillance cameras, she was genuinely startled. No wonder Alaric often locked himself in the study during that time. It turned out that he could see the surveillance from Far East International and Nexus Innovations on this computer. No wonder he knew she had gone to Far East International to find Tommy.
She understood his need to monitor Far East International, but why did he have to monitor Nexus Innovations as well? Was his intention to protect her, or was it a form of surveillance?
Stellan shivered and then turned off the surveillance footage. She couldn't think about it anymore!
She then opened the USB drive, which contained only two files: an audio file and a video file.
She first opened the audio file, which was a recording of several phone calls. In the recordings, Stuart instructed Ambrose to steal trade secrets from the Storm Group and arranged a series of tasks for him afterward.
Ambrose had actually saved these call records long ago and secretly kept them for six or seven years. She quickly opened the video file. The video turned out to be footage of Brennan falling from a building.
When Stellan saw Brennan falling from the rooftop, she couldn't help but scream in shock.
Cormac, who was staying in the guest room next to the study, rushed over in a panic when he heard Stellan's scream and asked, "What's going on?"
Stellan was at a loss for words as she was trembling. Cormac quickly looked at the video and was also startled. "What is this?"
Stellan answered, "This is the USB drive Ambrose gave me before he died. When I opened it..."
After Brennan's death, she had nightmares for a long time about him falling from a high building. But she had never seen the actual moment of the fall. Now that she had seen it, she looked more anguished than ever. That was her beloved father, who had been with her since childhood and loved her the most, Brennan.
"Don't look at it anymore." Cormac, understanding her feelings and said. Then he stood in front of the computer screen, blocking it, and began to watch the video serrously.
The video was clearly secretly filmed by Ambrose with a phone. The shooting angle seemed to be from a building across the street, but it wasn't a parallel view; the angle was a bit low.
The video didn't start from the moment Brennan fell. At the beginning of the video, Brennan was already falling.
"There are other people on the rooftop!" Cormac said in shock.
"Yes," Stellan murmured, "Ambrose also told me that he saw two other people on the rooftop besides my dad. One was Todd, and the other was unknown."noveldrama
"Todd?" Cormac looked closely at the person on the rooftop and said confidently, "Yes, it's Todd. You can tell if you look closely, but the other person..."
The other person was farther away and in the shadows, only a silhouette could be
seen.
"Even though we can't see who the other person is, isn't this video evidence that Brennan didn't commit suicide?" Cormac didn't expect Ambrose to have such crucial evidence.
With these phone recordings and this video footage, it could proved that the Storm family was framed and Brennan was murdered!
"Tomorrow, hand this over to Neil, and the Storm family case can be truly reopened," Cormac said. "We were concerned about Alaric's health before, but now that he's recovered, we don't need to hold back anymore."
Stellan said, "Once the case is reopened, let the police handle it. Although Alaric is healthy now, this isn't his job, and I don't want him to be affected."
Cormac was slightly taken aback. Was Stellan still angry with Alaric?

Cormac said, "You know him very well; even though he's not a cop, he was in the military. He's always righteous and won't stand by when there's an injustice. Besides, he's your husband. Your business is his business. How could he not care?"
After saying this, Cormac looked at the time; it was already midnight. Pretending to be angry, he said, "It's so late, and Alaric still not home. It's really outrageous. I'll call and scold him right now!"
Cormac then dialed Alaric's number, but it didn't go through. Then he couldn't help but feel a bit awkward.
"Maybe his phone is dead," Cormac said. "After you had an incident, he was worried and looking for you everywhere. He probably didn't have time to charge his phone."
Stellan gave a wry smile and said, "He's probably exhausted and already asleep. Let him sleep well."
Cormac said, "Yes, he's asleep, and his phone is dead."
Stellan gave a perfunctory smile at Cormac's explanation. "It's very late. You should go rest, Cormac. Sorry for disturbing your sleep."
Cormac said, "It's okay. I wasn't asleep anyway. You should get some rest too."
"Okay." Stellan nodded and left the bedroom.
After Stellan left, Cormac couldn't help but curse Alaric, "You bastard, you actually turned off your phone!"
Alaric was really exhausted and slept very deeply that night. Meanwhile, Stellan couldn't sleep at all, her mind repeatedly replaying the scene of Brennan falling.

What exactly happened that night? They had no enmity with the Vale family. Why did the Vale family want to harm the Storm family? Why did they have to kill Brennan? That night, on the rooftop at midnight, how desperate must Brennan have felt?
Stellan dared not dwell on it; just the thought brought such pain to her heart that she could hardly breathe. She felt that the night was interminable, as if she had endured an entire century before dawn finally arrived
When Rowena woke up, Stellan was already out of bed.
"Stellan, you're up so early?" Rowena said quickly, "It's still early. You should sleep a bit more."
"No, I can't sleep anymore." Stellan still asked with concern, "How did you sleep last night in a different place?"
"Very well," Rowena nodded. "Maybe it's because I'm pregnant. I'm very sleepy now and can sleep anywhere. I wish I could sleep twenty hours a day."
Stellan smiled and said, "It's normal to sleep a lot in the early stages of pregnancy. It's good to sleep more. Alright, Rowena, you lie down a bit longer. I'll go tell the kitchen to make breakfast."
After saying this, Stellan left the bedroom. When she went downstairs, she saw Alaric coming in from outside.
For a moment, the two of them looked at each other in silence, and the atmosphere was quite awkward.
"You bastard, you still know how to come back?" At this moment, Cormac also came downstairs and scolded, "Where were you last night? Your phone was even off." Stellan didn't listen to Alaric's answer and just walked into the kitchen. Alaric glanced at her, then looked back at Cormac and asked, "Is Galatea feeling better?"
What do you think?
