My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being CHAPTER 1096

As the whiskey was brought over, Randy quickly downed it in one gulp.

Drake saw it and snorted, “Coward.”

“What? Who are you calling a coward?” Randy spat, pointing at Drake. “Don’t think just because you’ve known Marion longer, I won’t dare.to punch you. Let me tell you, I’m Marion’s best friend.”

“Who cares about your friendship? You want to hit me? Go ahead and try.”

Just as Randy was about to make a move, Garland quickly checked him. “Calm down. You don’t want to ruin Marion and Debra’s big day.”

“You’re right,” Randy said, grimacing. “But how did Marion, a lone wolf, manage to get married? While I’m still stuck with nothing.”

Unsure how to comfort him, Garland patted him on the back, which caused him to retch.

A strong smell of alcohol wafted through the air. Garland, who hated bad smells, immediately felt queasy and almost gagged from the stench.

“What the hell?” He shoved Randy away in disgust.

“Sorry.” Randy wobbled.

Drake couldn’t help but roll his eyes. ‘What kind of people are Marion and Debra hanging out with? These two are oddballs. Except for Caleb, the rest of them are a bunch of fools.‘

“Here they come! The bride and groom are here to toast,” someone exclaimed.

Everyone turned toward the corner, where Marion and Debra had changed into their toasting outfits and were starting to greet the guests.

They went to the main table first. When Debra saw the vomit on Garland and the flushed face of Randy, she immediately realized what had happened.

Instead of calling them out, she bent her knees and presented tea to Caleb, together with

Marion.

“Grandpa, please have some tea,” she said, handing the teacup to him.

Caleb smiled from ear to ear as he took the cup from her.

But when his gaze fell on Marion, his expression hardened. “You better treat Debra well from now on. The Frazier family may not have much, but Debra is now my granddaughter–in–law. You can’t fail her or let anyone else bully her. Got it?”

“I will protect her with my life,” Marion promised.

Caleb nodded in satisfaction and patted him on the shoulder. “Go ahead and toast the guests.

Make sure you toast each one of them. Or you’re no good to the Houston family.”

The corners of Debra’s mouth twitched. ‘What a loving grandfather!‘

Drake leaned back in his chair and poured himself a glass of wine. “Marion, shouldn’t you two be toasting me?” noveldrama

Randy chimed in, “Don’t flatter yourself. If it weren’t for you, they’d been married a long time ago.”
