Chapter 1288 - 1215: Ants
Chapter 1288: Chapter 1215: Ants
From the high-rises of Financial Street, the masses below look like ants.
Stefano, a director of Avi Airlines, is already 69 years old. He serves as a director for 36 companies, and his wealth requires professional accountants several days to manage. Yet, on the day the light aircraft crashed, he still flew over at once.
At crucial moments, accomplishing critical tasks is the key to rising above the life of ants.
Therefore, Stefano pays exceptional attention to Alessio’s work and gives his utmost support after Alessio shares his ideas.
But, even with Stefano’s green eyes bloodshot with exhaustion, he did not get the key answers he was looking for.
Looking down at his watch, Stefano urged, "The Chinese forensic doctor discovered critical evidence just through the autopsy. We must at least understand what he found. Present here are the world’s best forensic doctors, the best engineers, the best doctors, the finest aviation experts... Use your minds, and think, what factor could lead him to judge it a mechanical failure?"
"Bribed by a competitor company?" The doctor replied quickly.
"The Chinese forensic doctor is from a wealthy family, the kind who can afford a private jet." Stefano stated.
The doctor couldn’t help but be envious: "Then why would he be a forensic doctor?"
"How should I know! I just want to know what he discovered!" Stefano shrugged.
"What about using beauty?" The doctor proposed, pondering, "Even if he’s wealthy, he might still like different styles of women, or maybe even men."
"Too late." Stefano shook his head. "Give me some reliable suggestions!"
The aviation expert pressed the microphone, and his video jumped from the edge to the center.
"Ricardo, go ahead." Stefano said with anticipation.
Ricardo asked, "Why is everyone else referred to as ’the best,’ the best forensic doctor, the best engineer, the best doctor, but I’m referred to as the ’finest’?"
Stefano, at 69, couldn’t help but laugh, much like when he came home at 68 to see his 28-year-old girlfriend cosplaying Tom the cat at home for a concert.
"Because we are an aerospace company, we truly know what kind of aviation expert is the best." Stefano’s profile flashed, and without muting his microphone, he told his secretary next to him, "Get me a few more aviation experts, plus forensic experts, engineers, doctors, and rocket experts—whatever kind of expert. We have two more hours to solve the problem!"
Alessio softly reminded, "There are still 4 hours until the Chinese forensic doctor releases the autopsy report."
"The remaining 2 hours are for me to solve the problem." Stefano shot back, then continued, "Provided I know where the issue lies. Or rather, can you all prove that human error caused the crash?"
Everyone naturally looked at the "finest" aviation expert Ricardo on a screen corner.
After being pressured, Ricardo’s demeanor steadied, and he said, "You can’t prove it. I’ve been involved in several crash incidents. To prove a crash was due to human error, the best method should be for a forensic doctor to prove it. If the pilot was using drugs or drinking heavily, you’d expect to find traces in his body, right? Otherwise, track the pilot’s life: any divorce? Fighting for child custody with his wife? Visiting bars the night before the crash..."
"Stick to your expertise. What can you determine on your end?" Stefano redirected the discussion.
Ricardo chuckled a bit, drank some water, and then said, "Based on the damage to the deceased’s G-force resistance, theoretically, I can perform damage analysis and site reconstruction. I could provide insights into changes during the plane’s descent... But now, without the forensic report, I can’t see the damage analysis of the body. Solely from the fact that the deceased’s organs were ejected, and bones shattered, the plane’s tailspin was severe, possibly accompanied by a rapid nosedive. The aircraft’s structure was strong enough, hence no mid-air disintegration, but the pilot couldn’t withstand it. This aligns with our previous... ahem, in summary, I can explain human error, but I can’t rule out other factors."
Stefano sighed, turning to the forensic doctor: "Alessio, what do you need to deduce what the Chinese forensic doctor found?"
"Looking at it now, it doesn’t seem likely." Alessio listened to the other experts and replayed the autopsy process in his mind, finally coming to a realization.
Stefano pressured, "The Chinese forensic doctor saw it; how can you not see it?"
"I could only observe. I couldn’t touch or look over the findings; the information obtained wasn’t comprehensive..." Alessio found an excuse to gloss over it.
Stefano looked at Alessio skeptically: "At least give us some information to make a judgment." noveldrama
Alessio rolled his eyes: "Mr. Director, it is I who require you to provide more information for me to make a judgment."
"The other side is just a forensic doctor in his 20s. Even if he could touch and look over things, you were right by his side and still didn’t know what he was doing?" Stefano owns so many companies, with many girlfriends at home, and never needs professional skills, only the ability to analyze professionals.
After all, Alessio is a technical personnel; asking him to deviantly describe things completely against the facts would at least... require being paid extra.
So, simple face value, even his own, is actually not that significant.
Alessio pressed the microphone gently and spoke again: "This forensic doctor in his 20s is very capable. I have read a few of his previous autopsy reports. They’re flawless, exceptionally competent, profoundly seasoned, very comprehensive..."
He used several adjectives just to explain how brilliant Jiang Yuan is. Only with a worthy opponent, could he explain that his own capability is not weak. Such a subtle thought, everyone in the video meeting could perceive.
However, while they perceived this, everyone also understood that Alessio using this tactic meant the Chinese forensic doctor had indeed no flaws.
"What do you need?" Stefano now needed information. Even if not comprehensive, any amount would be something.
Moreover, Alessio was the one to call them, so Stefano naturally assumed he would have a way.
Alessio didn’t have much information left either, so he said, "Mr. Ricardo just mentioned G-force damage, which I can perform. If Mr. Ricardo can analyze the damage, perhaps site reconstruction can be done, which could infer the cause and process of the accident, providing crucial evidence for the investigation. Engineering and medical experts should also be able to help..."
"Then we’ll center our efforts around you." Stefano arranged without any reservations.
"I’ll try my best..." Alessio sighed with relief.
As he mentioned, with the help of engineering experts and aviation experts, at least some site reconstruction could be accomplished, and perhaps some answers could be garnered from the process of the plane’s descent.
After discussing for about fifteen minutes, Stefano ended the call, exited the video meeting, and promptly brought in more people to join this team, while Alessio immediately organized the others to begin discussions.
