Nora

Chapter 200

Chapter 200:.

Paul frowned as he listened to what she said.

He grabbed his phone, went to Justin’s private number and took a look. Then, he said, “No, it’s not. But it’s a great coincidence. And to think she’s only wrong by two numbers.”

Terence curved his lip immediately. “I knew it was a fake!”

Paul scoffed and said, “Someone pretending to be Justin Hunt’s daughter? Now that’s funny. After all, he’s never had a daughter!”

The fact that Justin had a son was already being kept under wraps.

Every chapter lives on g a lno vels ; comm

However, that was only in the case of outsiders. Families like the Quinlans had to pay close attention to changes among the wealthy.

Paul had also tried various ways of asking over the years, but in the end he only managed to find out that Justin had a five-year-old son. Other than that, he didn’t find out anything else.

Terence was even angrier to hear that. He clenched his fists and said, “How dare you lie to me! I’m going to punch your teeth out on Monday.”

It was Friday, so the next day was the weekend. They didn’t have classes on weekends, so he could only get even on Monday.

Then Terence looked back at Paul and asked, “Dad, can I go watch the car race tomorrow?”

A smiling Paul replied, “Sure, no problem. We’re part of the tracks that Jordan Hoffman set up too, aren’t we?”.

At that point he was silent for a moment, and the look in his eyes became a little more sinister and ruthless.

The Hoffmans and the Quinlans had equal prestige in the underworld.

However, everyone knew that Paul was fiercer and more ruthless than Jordan, so they feared him more. This was because, although he seemed polite and refined, he was far more vicious and violent than Jordan.

That guy had a scary face, but he had a lot of reservations and boundaries in the way he did things.

The two families had been competing with each other all this time.

Therefore, he had accepted that Winston wanted to make things difficult for Logan. After all, Jordan had made a lot of money through Logan-the King of Racing!

Winston had used his name to threaten the people of New York so that they wouldn’t dare buy Logan’s sports car.

In the end, however, someone had refused to show him courtesy.

When he asked who they were, he learned that it was the Hunts.

Paul let out an icy laugh. What a small world, eh.

However, he wasn’t going to mess with the Hunts if he could help it. After all, if they supported Jordan, he would become even harder to deal with!

With that in mind, Paul said coldly, “Stay away from the Hunts’ children if you meet them in the future, no matter what kind of occasion it is. Don’t mess with them.”

Terence had always had his father’s backing in carrying out his misdeeds, so he knew especially well who he could and could not mess with. Thus, he was quick to nod.

Elsewhere.

Pete went home with Tanya as usual.

After the two got in the car and Tanya drove away in the jeep, Joel finally reluctantly withdrew his gaze.

Brandon and Mia walked out together and got into Joel’s car.

As soon as they got into the car, Brandon asked, “Uncle Joel, Cherry’s father is Justin Hunt?”

Joel nodded. “Yes.”

Then he looked at his daughter. Mia hung her head; she was clearly not in a good mood.

Joel looked at her with gentleness and affection, then ruffled her hair. He asked, “What’s wrong, Mia?”

Mia looked at him and ducked her head again. “It’s nothing, Daddy.”

When Joel wanted to ask further, Brandon stepped in and said, “I know what’s wrong, Uncle Joel! Mia wants to dance, but Miss Turner won’t have her!”.

Mia hastily raised her head and waved her hands as she said, “N-no, that’s not true. I…I really don’t like dancing very much.”

Mia didn’t want her father to force Miss Turner to teach her. If that happened, Miss Turner would suffer too much injustice.

Besides, her mother didn’t like her dancing either.

Joel’s eyes twinkled. He tousled Mia’s hair again and said comfortingly, “Okay, I see.”

Brandon had a fidgety look on his face and was unable to sit still the whole way home. It was as if he was keeping a little secret. Joel saw the whole thing but didn’t interfere.

When they got home, Joel saw Brandon make an excuse and drag Mia off to play.

Joel looked at the babysitter. She nodded immediately and followed the two.

Less than half an hour later, the babysitter returned and reported, “Brandon is trying to get Mia to go watch a car race tomorrow afternoon.”

Joel, “…”

The babysitter lowered her head and asked, “Would you like to stop them?”

Joel thought about the shy look on his daughter’s face. Then, he thought about how brave Brandon was to take a knife to cut off his little penis so he could become a girl. He held his forehead.

He wanted to encourage his daughter to be more cheerful, but he couldn’t help but be concerned about Brandon’s presence. So, he said, “Let them go, but get some people to secretly protect them.”noveldrama

“Yes sir.”

The next day, at the Anderson’s house.

Nora slept in until it was time to watch the race. After getting up, she lazily put on a black baseball cap, black shirt and pants. Without bothering to get dressed, she took Pete with her.

As soon as she left the bedroom, she saw Logan coming out of his room.

He had a particularly hideous face and it looked like his foot wound had not yet healed, causing him to limp when he walked. The sight made Nora frown. She asked, “Are you still going to participate in today’s race?”

Logan let out an annoyed grunt.

Yanci hadn’t responded to his email. Jordan had also called and told him that he hadn’t been able to reach him. Therefore, he could only brace himself and go for it today.

Losing meant he would have to pay back $50 million.

The profits from the Rest Pills probably wouldn’t amount to that much even if the Andersons received them now.

Logan had never wanted to cause trouble for the Andersons. He gritted his teeth and walked out.

Nora followed him.

When they got outside, Logan’s friend came over to pick him up.

He got in the car and drove off.

As for Nora, she drove off in the jeep after Pete dutifully sat in the back seat and buckled his seat belt.

The race was held at an abandoned factory in the suburbs. A professional racetrack had been built inside. The abandoned area was relatively large, so it was impossible to tell from the outside that there was a racetrack inside.

In fact, Jordan had already purchased all the land.

Security there was very good, and everyone who entered had to go through strict inspections and show their admission tickets.

The car stopped. As Logan got out of the car and was about to get in, his friend tugged on his sleeve and asked, “Logan, aren’t those your cousin and niece?”

Logan, “?”

He turned to see Nora parking her car behind his. The woman got out of the car without paying attention to the person in the back seat.

Her little niece unbuckled her seat belt herself and pushed the car door open. Then the little girl climbed down from the thick chassis, jumped out and slammed the car door hard herself….

Logan frowned. His friend asked, “Did you get them tickets?”

Logan, “…”

His friend continued and said, “It will be very difficult to get them in without tickets. Mr. Hoffman has beefed up security for today’s race.”

Logan became even more irritated.

They should have told him beforehand if they wanted to watch the race. Instead, they had followed him like this, what a nuisance!

Just as he was about to approach, he saw ….
