Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 236

Sean found Brad's number and called him again. He wasn't going to let Jean get away with bullying him just like that. Unlike Nadine, who seemed to let people walk all over her, Sean wasn't going to tolerate it.

This time, Brad answered the call. Seeing Sean's number, Brad didn't hesitate to answer and even felt a bit of smug satisfaction.

Since Nadine had blocked his number, there was no way she could have called him with her phone. The only person who could call him was Sean.

Brad wanted to know what was going on with Nadine, so he answered the call almost as soon as it rang.

"Sean? What's wrong?"

When Sean heard Brad's voice, he spoke in a flat tone to sound unhappy. "Yeah, it's me. Can't I call you if there's nothing wrong? I called earlier, and a lady answered. She seemed to dislike me a lot and was taunting me."

No matter who Jean was, Sean wasn't going to let anyone bully him. Only Nadine would allow herself to be bullied like that.

Upon hearing Sean's complaint, Brad raised an eyebrow and glanced at Jean.

Earlier, he had gone downstairs to buy breakfast and left his phone behind. The only person in the ward was Jean, who knew his phone's passcode.noveldrama

"Are you sure?"

In Brad's mind, Jean was a kind and understanding woman. She would feel guilty even for stepping on an ant. The idea that she would taunt Sean seemed unbelievable to him.

Sensing Brad's disbelief, Sean

huffed in frustration. "Believe it o not, I don't care! You like bad women and don't like Mommy, so I don't want to like you either! Just forget I catted!"

He hung up angrily, not even bothering to say "goodbye".

After ending the call, Sean was fuming. "What kind of dad is he? s he blind? That bad woman bullied me, and instead of standing up for me, he's siding with her. I don't want a dad like that!"

A few moments later, Nadine came out of the kitchen with breakfast. "Sean, breakfast is ready."

Sean replied to Nadine and acted as if nothing had happened as he sat down at the table to eat.

Meanwhile, Brad stared at the beeping phone with a sharp gaze. He then looked over at Jean. Sean was just five years old. Could a child that age lie?

He didn't rush to ask Jean for confirmation but instead pulled up the call log to check. To his surprise, there was no record of Sean's call.

Maintaining his composure, Brad put his phone away and told Jean, "There's something at home I need to take care of. I need to go now."

Jean was baffled. Just minutes ago, Brad had promised to stay with her at the hospital all weekend. How had he changed his mind so quickly?

Before she could protest, Brad was already gone. Jean was furious, and her ravioli didn't taste good

anymore. She shouted angribe.n

"Nadine, you bitch! Do you have to steal Brad from me?"
