After Jules took off, Nathalie headed upstairs. She found Morris, crouched down next to him, and looked at

him with genuine concern. "If you're still hung up on him, why not just reach out?"

Morris gently smoothed the creases on her forehead with his thumb. "Nathalie, don't frown. You'll end up with

wrinkles."

Nathalie sighed, laced with a hint of self-pity. "Even if I were drop-dead gorgeous, no one seems to notice.

Getting old and losing my looks doesn't faze me."

Morris paused, his expression softening. "Nathalie, I've decided to join the Sharp family. It's likely we'll see

less of each other. I hope you find ways to keep yourself happy while I'm away."

Nathalie felt a wave of disappointment wash over her. But she knew Morris returning to the Sharp family was

crucial for him to reconnect with his roots. She supported his decision without reservation.

"Okay. Let me know ahead of time when you plan to leave the Stewart family. I want to be there to send you

off."

Ford was relentless, working around the clock for three days until he had good news for Nathalie. "Boss, I've

tracked down Almos."

Nathalie's excitement was palpable as she quickly replied to Ford's message, "Where is he?"

"He's abroad right now, but his travel records show a flight booked for next Monday to return."

Nathalie didn't hesitate. "Get someone to meet him at the airport when he lands. I want him brought straight to

me."

"Will do."

Just as Ford's call ended, Dominick

was on the line, his frustration

evident. "Boss, Vincent Corporation

just swiped our project. The Bayview

deal we've been working on for ages

was nabbed by them the moment

they came back. It's a real sucker

punch. How do we hit back?"

Nathalie was momentarily speechless. "Who's handling this project for Vincent Corporation?" she asked.

"Someone under Jules, named Mick. Word is he's a real mover and shaker, one of Jules's top guys."

"Mick? If he's managed to outmaneuver you, he must be sharp. But maybe he doesn't realize that the heads

of the Stewart and Sharp families go way back. This move is a bit bold."

Dominick continued, "Boss, they obviously don't respect Stewart Enterprise. He even had the nerve to say

you, being a woman, can't keep the company afloat."

Nathalie was taken aback. "That full of himself?"

Mr. Jules is known for his polished demeanor and wouldn't tolerate such arrogance in someone close to him.

Did she misjudge Jules? Or did Dominick misread Mick?

Dominick added, "Vincent

Corporation is back with a

vengeance, and their first strike was

aimed at us. Do you really think Mr.

Jules wouldn't have done his

homework on us? He's choosing

profit over relationships."

Nathalie's face turned ashen, momentarily at a loss for words. Jules's character was key to her stance on

Vincent Corporation. It also influenced Morris's chance to come home.

Nathalie knew she had to dig into why Jules was targeting Stewart Enterprise. "Dominick, set up a meeting

with the Bayview project owner. I need to talk to him."

"Boss, meeting him now might be too late."

"Just do it. I've got my reasons."

"Understood."

After hanging up, Nathalie found

herself lost in thought. That evening,

she met Colby, the Bayview project

owner, at the swanky Regal Hotel

Colby was there with some wealthy

friends, in a private room,

surrounded by stunning women, and

clearly enjoying a night of luxury and

indulgence.
