Natalie’s gaze shifted from the screen to Daniela.

“Is this the person who orchestrated your escape from prison?” Daniela continued.

A flicker of surprise crossed Natalie’s face before she erupted into mocking laughter. “Daniela, is this your grand plan? What are you suspecting? Do you think the one who freed me from prison is the same mastermind who caused the explosion back then? Do you actually think I’d tell you? Beg me! If you beg, I’ll toss you the name you’re dying to hear.”

Natalie’s demeanor grew increasingly haughty.

She thought she had found Daniela’s weakness.

Daniela answered, “She has no clue who helped her. We’ve tracked her for weeks—she’s been searching for explosives all on her own. That tells me she’s no different from Caiden and Joyce. They’re just pawns sent to take me out. She’s not part of the bigger plan.”

Cedric leaned in. “Does the mastermind have accomplices?”

Daniela nodded. “Yes. Winslow.”
