Daniela’s lips curled into a faint smile. Standing by the office window, she gazed down at the bustling street below, where people hurried by.

She replied coldly, “Consider this my gift to you—and I’ll say it only once. Stay away from Cedric. Don’t think I’m unaware of the private jet you’ve arranged to sneak him out early. If I leave and find Cedric is already gone, I swear your three sons won’t live to see another day.”

Silence lingered on the other side of the phone as Hamilton processed Daniela’s words.

Eventually, a soft chuckle escaped him. “To think that the founder of Elite Lux, once considered the wealthiest person globally, could still impress me—remarkable indeed.”

Understanding often required no explanation; the wise grasped it quickly. Daniela was ready to reveal her intentions.

She trusted that Hamilton would not harm Cedric. However, Hamilton could not offer any assurance that his children were safe from Daniela. A fearsome mercenary leader, Daniela had no personal interest in his sons. If she chose to kill them, he would be powerless to stop her.

Holding the phone, Daniela continued, “Mr. McCoy, it’s time the younger generation took over. The future belongs to them.”
