Chapter 1021
Chapter 1021:noveldrama
“You… you…” The pain was so intense that he could barely speak. Through gritted teeth, Hoyt managed to growl, “I won’t let my father let you off!”
Jim stood by, stunned. He hadn’t expected Allison to be such a skilled fighter.
“Come on, throw him out,” Kellan ordered calmly, ignoring Hoyt’s threat.
“Yes, sir.” Without hesitation, the servants moved in, lifting Hoyt effortlessly. Since Allison had already left him gasping for breath, Hoyt had no strength left to resist. He felt completely humiliated.
Rage surged within him, pushing him to his breaking point. “How bold you are! Believe it or not, I will kill all of you!”
But the servants didn’t flinch at his threats.
“We only take orders from Mr. Kellan Lloyd. Please stop struggling, or it’s going to hurt even more.”
Just as the servants were about to drag Hoyt out, a sleek black car rolled up outside.
The sound of the car caught the attention of many, who glanced over in confusion. After all, it wasn’t every day that a vehicle was allowed to park right in front of the Lloyd family’s house.
When Hoyt saw the car, his eyes immediately brightened. He shouted toward it, “Dad, you’re finally back!” The car belonged to Brook.
The door to the black car soon opened. The servants immediately stepped back, releasing Hoyt and lining up beside the door, bowing in unison.

Hoyt quickly seized the moment, rising and adopting a victimized expression.
“Dad, if you hadn’t come back, they would’ve beaten me to death!”
Allison frowned, her gaze shifting toward the door. A bodyguard stepped forward and respectfully opened the car door. First, a pair of black leather shoes appeared, followed by a silver cane tapping against the ground.
Only then did Brook step fully out of the car. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, holding a silver cane with a reddish-brown leather handle.
“What’s all this noise? How rude.” Brook frowned, clearly annoyed. His eyes then shifted from Hoyt to Allison, scanning her face. His gaze felt heavy, almost as if it could touch her, and Allison couldn’t ignore the weight of his presence. It was the kind of pressure only someone with power could exude.
“It seems the rules of the Lloyd family have changed a lot since I was absent,” Brook continued. “Anyone can just move into our family’s home these days.”
His gaze was casual, but it carried a sharp, icy tone.
Hoyt quickly rushed to his father’s side, eager to twist the story. “Dad, you won’t believe it. Grandma is awake again, but Kellan didn’t even tell us. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he brought this disgraceful woman home.” He then pointed at his face. “I just got a little upset and said a few things, and he used a knife to cut my face. Look, I’m bleeding everywhere!”
Though Hoyt made his injuries sound worse than they were, Brook barely glanced at him.
