Lizetta barely glanced at Andrea before she whipped out her phone and snapped a picture.

"What are you doing?!" Andrea frowned.

Lizetta rolled her eyes and waved her phone. "Don't be jealous. I wasn't just loafing around this morning. But posting this pic on the company intranet? Your department manager might think you're having a too easy, chatting over desserts during work hours."

Lizetta wasn't about to be polite either. Andrea immediately stood up and said, "You've got it all wrong. I came to pick up the project budget report. Mrs. Laura just hasn't finished organizing it and asked me to wait here for a moment.

Liz, by your logic, are you implying Mrs. Laura isn't working diligently either by chatting with me?"

Andrea stepped forward, frowning at Lizetta and continued, "It's one thing to accuse me, but you can't slander Mrs. Laura like that. As far as I know, she's always been very dedicated to her work."

Laura's attitude towards her was clearly influenced by Eartha.

Lizetta wasn't afraid of offending Laura since her stance towards Laura was always dictated by Eartha's whims.

Besides, if you want to make a mark and show everyone your accomplishments, I can arrange for you to be added to a few important projects as a responsible party."

Laura's smile was warm and appeasing, and Andrea looked on enviously, "Liz, Mrs. Laura is really good to you."

"Mrs. Laura, I came here to work. I've been diligently finishing the tasks you assigned over the past few days. Where have I fallen short to make you think I'm here to play? Or what have I done to give you the impression that I'd comfortably take credit for others' work?"
