“Keaton, I’m not well-acquainted with Barry. There are certain things I can’t discuss with him. However, you and I are close. I need to tell you that if Bryan finds out you’ve hidden Milford and lied to him, you’ll face serious consequences,” Presley said in a gentle tone.

It was early morning, and Presley’s soft voice stirred something within Keaton. He quickly sought a quieter spot and said, “But weren’t you the one who urged me to deceive Mr. Dawson?”

“I requested you to deliver Milford to me, but you refused to do that. I was unable to help eliminate his tracks. Now, we don’t know where he is. How am I supposed to assist you now?” Presley exhaled deeply and added, “Initially, I didn’t want to upset Bryan. But now that things have come to this… let’s just drop it.”
