Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

Chapter 816

"Then, what were the pictures Estelle had with her about?"

"Yeah! We wouldn't have suspected anything if it weren't for those photos..."

The whispers from the crowd reached Yvette's ears, prompting her to stand up. Her beautiful, sharp eyes gleamed with a cold light as they fixed on Estelle.

"Those photos were secretly taken and altered before they reached her hands," Yvette said.

"Don't think that just because you're the world's leading medical scientist, Vern, you can spout nonsense. Your personal life is just a wreck, and that's the truth," Estelle snapped, her eyes gleaming with venom.

"Unless you can prove those photos are fake, it's clear you've got some questionable habits!" Even if she couldn't accuse Yvette of cheating, Estelle would make sure to ruin the former's reputation and drag her name through the mud.

"You want proof, right?" Yvette's lips twisted into a sly, dangerous smile, sending an involuntary chill down the spine of anyone who saw it.

"I'll give you proof."

Estelle, not believing for a second that Yvette had any evidence, tried to suppress her growing fear and sneered. "Stop making empty threats. Show us the proof, then."

She had taken every precaution to hide her actions, so there was no way Yvette could have any evidence.

Calmly, Yvette pulled a small voice recorder from her pocket and pressed play. The next moment, Estelle's icy voice echoed through the room.

"Make sure this photo looks like they're very close. We need to make people believe something is going on between them. Once it's done, you'll be rewarded handsomely.

"And as for that pesky little thing trying to steal the championship from me... I'll ruin her reputation today!"

As the recording played, Estelle's face went deathly pale. She shrieked in desperation.

"Turn it off! Turn it off now!"

But it was too late. The entire room had already heard the recording loud and clear.

"What the fuck? This is a huge plot twist! So it was Estelle who orchestrated the whole thing!"

"We were almost tricked! Who would have thought that the daughter of the President would be behind such disgusting actions!"

The crowd buzzed with shock, and Estelle's previously pristine image came crashing down.

Yvette looked down at her with a chilling gaze, her voice like ice. "Is this evidence enough to clear my name?"

Estelle's face grew even paler, her hatred for Yvette deepening. Regardless, she could make no retort.

Joseph snorted in disgust, his voice icy as he addressed Frank. "Mr. Gillman, Estelle slandered me and Vern both. You have to do something about this."

Frank's gaze on Estelle was full of disdain. "Intentionally slandering other participants is a sign of poor character. The International Medical Congress has no need for someone like you. I hereby announce that you are permanently banned from the International Medical Congress!"

The Internationalnoveldrama

The International Medical Congress was the pinnacle of the medical world, a place every medical professional aspired to join. Frank's announcement effectively banned Estelle from the global medical community.

Estelle couldn't let herself be banned. Her face was full of panic, and she no longer held the arrogance she once did. She begged with desperation in her voice.

"Mr. Gillman, please... I know I was wrong. Please give me another chance. Don't ban me from the medical community."

Frank didn't even spare her a glance, his attention turning instead to Yvette, clearly seeking her approval.

"Vern, are you satisfied with this resolution?"

Yvette lazily raised an eyebrow, her voice casual. "It'll do."

Watching the scene unfold, Estelle realized that begging Frank was futile. Left with no other choice, she swallowed her hatred and turned her desperation onto the one person she hated most, lowering herself to plead.
