The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1457

Atlas was almost a picture of frost at this moment, causing the backstage staff to stand by, trembling, not daring to get too close to him. Even speaking to him was done with utmost caution.

The surveillance in the airport lobby hadn't been tampered with, so it didn't take long for Atlas to spot Mirabella's figure in the footage.

Following her path through several cameras, he finally pinpointed her location to the airport's executive parking lot.

Atlas asked the staff to pull up the surveillance for that area, but the screen was black, clearly indicating that someone had covered the camera.

A staff member quickly explained, "The internal parking lot's surveillance is generally not meant for public access, so it's not usually within our key monitoring scope. That's why we didn't notice the anomaly with the camera."

His words were true. With hundreds of cameras throughout the airport, it was impossible to monitor each one constantly, especially not the internal parking lot.

Atlas's gaze lingered on the surveillance screen, his fist clenched. After muttering a thank you, he left the surveillance room and headed to the parking lot.

The internal parking lot wasn't very large, and at the moment, there were about five or six sedans parked there. After a thorough check, Atlas didn't find anything.

The lack of discovery meant that he couldn't confirm whether Miss Mira had actually been there.

Atlas's expression grew even darker. As he turned to leave, he had only taken a few steps when something caught his eye. Quickly moving towards the front right, he bent down to pick up a very thin needle from the ground.

The needle was not ordinary, and Atlas had seen Mirabella use it before, so he could almost immediately ascertain it belonged to her.

Miss Mira was indeed in trouble.

With the needle in hand, Atlas felt the last flicker of hope dissipate.

James was discussing business when his phone vibrated in his pocket a few times, which he ignored.

It wasn't until several minutes later

James narrowed his eyes slightly, turning to look at Wyatt, "What happened?"

Wyatt, still holding his phone, spoke in a low voice, "Didn't you instruct to check on Ms. Mirabella's grandmother yesterday? She might be at her end."

James's heart skipped, and his expression changed instantly, "What's going on?"

"It seems to be severe illness. We

Hearing this, James's pen dropped onto the table, showing a rare loss of composure.

Catherine held a special place in Mirabella's heart, almost more significant than her own parents.

He remembered how the young lady had talked about wanting to visit her hometown to see Catherine a few days ago, her face softening in a way he seldom saw.

If she knew Catherine was close to the end... James took a deep breath and stood up, "Prepare the helicopter."

With that, he strode out of the meeting room.

Seeing this, Wyatt quickly

...

The helicopter was ready shortly after Wyatt received the message from his men.

Before long, James arrived at the helipad. Before boarding, he tried calling Mirabella again, only to be met with the same unanswered status.
