Summer had just entered the airport when she realized she had forgotten to give something to Mandy. After a quick phone call, she headed back to the exit to find Mandy.

"What was it you had for me?" Mandy asked.

Summer pulled her gaze from the parking lot and hummed in acknowledgment before taking out a card from her bag, "Here, take this card. The PIN is..."

Mandy took the card, hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Is this from them?" Summer's expression remained neutral, "Yes."

Hearing this, Mandy's smile softened, "Once you're there, make sure to learn well from the professor. Our family is counting on you now."

Summer, used to Mandy's changed attitude, glanced at the time, not wanting to prolong the conversation, "I should go then."

"Take care, and just send me a message when you're about to board the

connecting flight," Mandy said, looking every bit the caring mother.

Summer waved nonchalantly and turned back into the airport.
