Chapter 1474
Wyatt noticed Mirabella's sudden movement and quickly said, "Ms. Mirabella, are you looking for Summer? Summer left Y province on a flight yesterday."
Mirabella stopped in her tracks and turned around, her aura of solemnity seemingly skyrocketing with her, "She left?"
Wyatt's heart skipped a beat, nodding in response, "Yes, she's already gone."
Mirabella furrowed her brows, "Do you know where she went?"
"She must have gone back to Ashford. Her ticket was to Ashford," Wyatt quickly replied.
Upon hearing this, Mirabella took out her phone and called Atlas, instructing him to find Summer and take her into custody.
Thinking of Morgan made Mirabella's fierce energy dissipate somewhat, and just before hanging up, she asked, "Atlas, my friend?"
"Paul has been discharged from the hospital, but he keeps asking for you. I gave him your number, didn't he call?" Atlas asked in surprise.
Mirabella remained silent for a moment, then said, "Well, please help me send him back to Ashford..."
After giving her instructions, she put away her phone.
Mirabella stood there, her cheeks pale and gaunt, her eyes deep, like the calm before a storm.

Soon after, Delilah and Shawn returned from visiting the cemetery, and after consulting with Mirabella, they decided to catch a flight back to Ashford that afternoon.
Upon learning this, James had Wyatt change his plans to join Mirabella and the others.
The flight at three o'clock got them back to Ashford by not yet six o'clock, but in the deep winter, the sky was already enveloped by night.
Zach and Emmitt were already waiting at the arrival gate, and when they saw their parents and sister come out, they went up to greet them.
After Zach greeted his parents, he turned his attention to his sister. Seeing her greatly thinned face he
felt @pang of heartache and hugged her, "Sis, stay strong."
Mirabella hummed softly. Aside from looking haggard, she seemed very calm, "I'm fine, thanks for your concern, Zach."
Zach patted her back before letting go. It was then, seemingly for the first time, that he noticed James, nodding at him as a form of greeting.
James was already used to Zach's attitude.
However, the next moment, he heard Zach's voice, "Thank you for taking care of my sister these past few days."
Although he didn't like the guy, gratitude where gratitude was due was still necessary.
"You're welcome, Zach," James nodded slightly.
Hearing James's voice addressing him, Zach felt as if he had swallowed a fly.
He glanced at his sister and parents, well aware of the good impression this man
had on them, so in the end, he held back any further comments.noveldrama
Emmitt, standing by, turned to Mirabella, his hands at his side clenched, and without the same gesture as Zach, he softly said, "My condolences."
"Thank you, Emmitt." Mirabella nodded.
"Hmm." Emmitt dared not look at
vel
Mirabella for too long, instead,
taking the luggage from their
parents and leading the way to the
parking lot, "Let's go home,"
The group quickly left the airport and arrived back at the neighborhood an hour later.
James rode with Emmitt, and although they didn't talk much on the way, it wasn't awkward.
After getting out of the car, Delilah, remembering something, walked up to James, her voice gentle, "It's
getting late, and your house has net
probably been empty for a while, which might not be convenient. If you don't mind, you're welcome to stay with us tonight."
What do you think?
