The caller was speaking the local language. From the sound of the voice, it was a middle–aged man, and the moment he spoke, Johnathan knew exactly who it was.

There’s no need to make a scene. The Wynn family has great influence, but your expertise is in maritime and oil ventures. The Victor family is more focused in other areas. If you’re willing, we can work together. It’s a lucrative business. With both families joining forces, we could reach new heights.”

Johnathan actually laughed at that.

No wonder White turned out the way he did. With someone like Victor at the helm, it was no surprise. A situation this serious, and Victor still treated it like a small matter.
