Chapter 894
"I heard you've slept with Averill, Leslie, Delilah, and Mira?" Naomi said.
Felix, who was in the middle of slurping the pasta, coughed out the contents in his mouth the moment he heard Naomi's words. He was at a loss for words. After all, it was true, and trying to deny it wouldn't change anything.
"What are you embarrassed about? We've always been your women. It was just a matter of time."
Hearing those words come from Naomi's mouth gave Felix an indescribable sense of awkwardness.
Her face, which had been slightly flushed, now seemed calm and resolute, as though she had come to terms with it.
"Do you know why Mr. Hoffman asked me to seek you out? It was to make sure we could sleep together."
Felix started coughing again.
"Naomi, are you serious?"
Naomi nodded. "Yes. The cultivation technique I've been practicing is closely tied to the soul. Mr. Hoffman must have thought the time was right. He always has his reasons. "When we... uh... connect, it's not just about the physical act. More importantly, it's a merging of our souls. The first time will especially bring tremendous benefits to your soul." Even Naomi felt embarrassed after saying that. She quickly got up and stammered, "I-I'll go wash the dishes."
If a woman was willing to say so much, being passive any longer would truly be unreasonable.
Quietly sneaking up behind her, Felix lifted her into his arms and said softly, "Naomi, then forgive me for being bold."
Once inside the room, he quickly removed her well-worn outer clothes, only to freeze in place.noveldrama
Beneath those layers was a set of sensual black, sheer lingerie. The contrast was so dramatic that Felix couldn't help but stare, wide-eyed.
"W-What are you looking at? You're so annoying," Naomi stammered, clearly flustered. She had intentionally dressed like this, knowing he was coming. "I'm looking at you. You're beautiful."
Without hesitation, Felix pounced like a hungry tiger, and the blending of their souls began.
By the time morning came, Felix felt an inexplicable sense of clarity and refreshment, though nothing more extraordinary than that.
"You're awake? Come have some pasta," Naomi said, carrying a plate into the room.
Felix smirked. "I think we did enough eating last night"
She gave him a glare and fled the room. "You're not allowed to say that. You're not allowed to say anything."
Driving back in the Cullinan, Felix found himself reflecting on his luck.
What had he done to deserve nine incredible fellow apprentices? Each had their own lives and their own pursuits, yet their feelings for him remained unwavering. They never asked for titles or commitments, something that felt like it could only happen in a dream.
Suddenly, Felix slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to an abrupt stop. After a brief moment of shock, he leaped out and disappeared into the surrounding forest.
Moments ago, he had felt the presence of the Dragonspine. He was certain he had sensed it.
What puzzled him was that it hadn't been there yesterday. Someone must have brought it nearby. How could he pass up such an opportunity?
The target was moving through the mountains and forests at incredible speed. As the pursuer, Felix could clearly feel its presence.
"This is tricky. Their speed is on par with someone at the True Blood Realm."
If it were truly just the True Blood Realm, Felix could handle it with ease. What worried him was the possibility of misjudging the situation and finding himself caught off guard. "Have they stopped moving?"
After a few quick leaps, Felix hid behind a large tree, preparing to observe the situation carefully.
But just as he was about to take a closer look, a voice rang out, "You've been following me for quite a while. Why hide? Come out already."
What do you think?
