Unforgettable love

Chapter 821

Chapter 821:.

The wallet and phone were gone, what could she do, thought Jasmine.

She looked at the driver sitting in front of her, “Sir, I…”.

“Miss, you’re not going to pay, are you?”, the driver had a sullen look on his face and thought, “It’s not easy to do business at night”.

“No, I lost my wallet and phone…”

Jasmine wanted to explain, but the driver refused to listen to her, “What you say is none of my business. Pay me the fare. I’m a cab driver and I don’t do it for charity. The fare is not much and it’s only $10, and you’re going to rip me off?”.

“I’m not trying to rip you off. I’ve lost my wallet,” Jasmine said eagerly, and she had no intention of scamming.

She was more anxious than anyone.

She had no money and her phone was missing.

“Okay, you lose your belongings, but you still have friends, right? Anyway, you have to pay me and don’t try to avoid it,” the cab driver was upset because he didn’t know if he could get the fare, and besides he was late to take the next guest, “I’m unlucky to meet you.”

“Sorry, sorry,” Jasmine was anxious.

“Call your friend,” the driver handed his phone to Jasmine.

Jasmine’s face lit up, but soon her face darkened because she couldn’t remember Boyce’s phone number.

“I…”

Jasmine thought, Calling the folks in B-town can’t help me. While the grass is growing, the horse is starving, What should I do?

She felt sorry, how come I don’t remember Boyce’s phone number?

She was the first to save Boyce’s new phone number when he changed his phone number. She even marked his name in the phone book. After that, the phone displayed Boyce’s name every time messages and calls were sent.

So he didn’t notice the phone number.

Jasmine wanted to call him, but she couldn’t remember his phone number.

The cab driver grew impatient, “Why don’t you call?”

“I only have one friend here, but I forgot his phone number…”

“Get out of my car! Get out of here!” the driver made a long face to scare her away, “What bad luck to run into people like you!”

Jasmine repeated her apology to the driver, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.”

“Hurry up and get out of my car. Don’t delay me to take the next one. It’s bad luck to run into you, don’t waste my time, what’s the use of apologizing? I’d send you to the police station if you were a man.”

“Sorry, sorry…”

Jasmine opened the car door and stepped out of the car. It was pouring rain, soaking her instantly. She closed the car door. The car covered her in water as she sped away.

Boyce lived in a building and not in a residential area. The entrance was locked and she could not enter the building. There was no place around to hide from the rain.

The rain was cold after autumn. She saw that her clothes were soaked and she was shivering from the cold.

He stood in the rain for a long time, and then found a narrow eave to shelter from the rain. The rain did not stop for a while yet.

After about 20 minutes, a car pulled up and stopped in the parking lot in front of the entrance.

Boyce got out of the car with an umbrella. Jasmine could barely see the figure because the light was dim. When Boyce was almost in the driveway,

Jasmine could clearly see that the figure was Boyce. She ran to him, “Boyce.”

Boyce glanced in the direction of the sound. He saw a petite figure running toward him through the rain and against the wind. She looked disheveled.

“Jasmine?” Boyce was stunned for a second, but immediately walked over to her and held out his umbrella to block the rain. “What happened to you?”

Jasmine wrapped her arms around herself and shivered like a wretch. “I came looking for you and wanted to surprise you. But a thief snatched my purse, I lost my wallet and my phone.”

Boyce pressed the umbrella into her hand, took off his coat to wrap it around her.

He said nothing and walked into the building with her in his arms.

“What is this place?” asked Jasmine with trembling lips.

“I’m temporarily living here,” Boyce hugged her tightly. He wanted to warm her with his body temperature. She was so cold he could feel it through her clothes.

He didn’t know how long she had been in the rain and thought, Will she get sick.

“Ahchoo!” Jasmine sneezed.

At that moment, they reached the gate room. Boyce opened the door and went into the bathroom to get out a dry towel. He walked over to Jasmine to wipe her face, “Hurry up, take off your wet clothes.”

The room was not large, and there was only one bedroom and one bathroom. The room was simple, there was only a closet and a table.

Jasmine undid the buttons on her clothes. Her hands were a little stiff. Boyce saw that she was slow in action, and so he helped her take off her clothes. Soon, there were only a few simple garments left on Jasmine’s body. Boyce didn’t think much of it and feared she was getting sick, so he removed her wet clothes.

After wiping her with a towel, he carried her to the bed and covered her with a quilt.

Jasmine snuggled under the comforter and felt much more comfortable and warm.

Boyce went to pour a glass of hot water for Jasmine. He gently lifted her up and held the glass of water to her lips, “Drink some warm water.”

Jasmine took two sips of water with the glass in her hand. “Okay.”

Boyce put the glass down and touched her forehead. He was afraid she had a fever.noveldrama

Jasmine curled up and whispered, “I’m fine, don’t worry. I’m not going to get sick. I’m fine physically. I didn’t even get sick when I was a girl.”

Boyce hugged her and pulled out his phone. He wanted to get her some hot soup to ward off the cold. However, there was no restaurant open at the time.

There was nothing in her house. She couldn’t even make a bowl of ginger water.

Boyce clasped her petite body in his arms, and his heart shrank to see her like this, “Tell me first, I can come pick you up.”

Jasmine fluttered her eyelashes, “I wanted to surprise you,” she lifted her head, and her hair was still damp after wiping, “I came to see you, are you happy, are you glad to see me?”
