A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Sophie immediately spoke up and forced a smile. "There's no need for that. I would like to share the good news with him myself. I hope you can keep this a secret for me."

"Of course. We respect patient confidentiality and won't disclose anything without your permission. Ms. Scott, your body is fine otherwise, but you're very weak.

"Try not to overwork yourself and make sure to get enough nutrition. I'll prescribe some vitamins for you to take home."

"Alright. Thank you, doctor."

"There's no need to thank me."

After the doctor left, Sophie immediately looked at the test report in her hands. Her face was pale.

How could she be pregnant? She had taken precautions!

The thought of Clyde's ugly and disgusting face made her nauseous. She then rushed to the bathroom and retched violently.

The baby had to go.

Gripping the sink, Sophie stared at her stomach venomously. How was she supposed to marry rich if she had such a parasite with her?

Sophie made up her mind and returned to her ward. She had just turned on her phone, planning to make an appointment at another hospital to abort the baby when she paused.

Suddenly, a bold idea came to mind. Her eyes shifted and she smiled smugly.

Perhaps the baby could end up being a big help for her to marry into a wealthy family.

The next day, Sierra went to school as usual. When she arrived at the door of the piano room, she immediately saw Cayden coaching Felicia on the piano.

Cayden first played a short piece, while Felicia sat beside him, tilting her head to look at him with admiration and a smile.

It was only then that Sierra realized that Felicia had feelings for Cayden. Not wanting to disturb their alone time together, she planned to use another piano room to practice.

However, Cayden happened to have turned his head and spotted her. His eyes immediately brightened as he stood up and stopped her. "Sierra, you're here."

Sierra paused and turned back around. Felicia's smile quickly disappeared, only to be replaced with displeasure.

Taking in Felicia's reaction, she responded lightly, "Yes. You two can continue practicing. I'll just go use a different piano room."

He immediately grew anxious after noticing that she was about to leave. "Felicia was just struggling with à few things, so I was helping her out. She figured things out now."

"Cayden, I still have some other parts I don't understand," Felicia insisted with a slight frown. Her voice was tinged with feigned innocence, pretending not to catch Cayden's subtle hint for her to leave.

Faint amusement flickered across Sierra's eyes as she softly mentioned, "I need

to go ask the teacher some questions. You two can keep practicing. I won't disturb you."

With that, she turned and quickly walked away.

Felicia's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. At least Sierra had some sense to her.

"Cayden, let's continue practicing," she said sweetly.

Cayden lowered his eyes, feeling a bit disappointed.

However, he had indeed promised to help Felicia practice yesterday, so he had no choice but to sit back down. However, his heart had already followed Sierra out the door.

"Cayden, there's something here that I don't understand. Can you explain it to me?" Felicia asked softly as she pointed at the music sheet.

However, he did not seem to have heard her, so Felicia called out to him a few more times. "Cayden? Earth to Cayden?"

Only then did Cayden snap out of it. "Huh? What is it?"

"I don't understand this part," Felicia repeated.

He explained it to her patiently, but she secretly clenched her hands into fists, and

her heart was resentful.

Why did Sierra have to come back again?
