A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Chapter 146 Stood up for You

Janice ran into Sierra in the hallway and immediately frowned as she stepped forward to block her way. "Sierra, didn't you get back together with Benson? Why are you here to practice the piano again?"

Looking at her, Sierra answered calmly, "I went to make things clear to Benson yesterday and asked him to stop interfering in my life. Also, I need to prepare for the Marisol Cup's finals. How can I not come to practice?"

Janice sneered and said sarcastically, "What do you mean to prepare for the competition? From the looks of it, you're only preparing to win the championship with Benson's help."

Sierra frowned and retorted, "Janice, I don't resort to such underhanded tactics. There's no need for you to assume the worst about me."noveldrama

However, Janice did not believe her and asked coldly, "What's your relationship with Theo?"

Sierra froze momentarily before she said nonchalantly, "There's nothing special between us."

"Is that true? Then, why does Theo care so much about you?

"He spoke up for you in the hospital, took you to apologize to my mom, defended you in front of her, and even stood up for you in the school cafeteria?" Janice pressed on, her eyes filled with suspicion.

"Stood up for me?" Sierra was confused and looked at her in bewilderment. "How did he stand up for me?"

"Stop pretending. Ever since you came back to school, you've been throwing yourself at Cayden. Everyone can see that you're trying to seduce him.

"Theo even saw you sitting and talking intimately with Cayden during lunch, yet he still defended you, believed you, and even scolded me because of you.

"I've known Theo since we were kids, and he's never once spoken harshly to me. But because of you, Theo had actually used such a stern tone with me and told me to stop targeting you. What is it about you? Why are my mom and Theo both taking your side?"

Sierra blinked repeatedly, unable to hide the shock she was feeling. However, a strange feeling was also spreading through her heart.

She pressed her lips together and met Janice's furious and confused gaze. Then, she asked calmly, "Janice, have you ever considered that maybe you're too biased against me?

you

"If you could let go of your prejudice, you'd see that I'm not as terrible as I've never wanted to go you, and I've never wanted to compete with you-"

Loven close with you-"

"Enough!" Janice interrupted her loudly, her voice filled with anger.

"Stop pretending to be all innocent! Didn't you say that I'll always lose to you and that I'll definitely lose to you in the Marisol Cup competition too?"

Sierra frowned, looking both puzzled and confused. "I've never said anything like that."

However, Janice wasn't willing to listen to any of her explanations.

"Why are you still pretending? Sierra, the thing I hate most about you is how fake you are! You say things, yet you don't have the guts to admit saying them!

"Listen to me! I will beat you in this competition, and I will expose you if you dare to use any underhanded tricks. If I ever catch you doing anything shady, I'll make sure that your reputation is in shambles!"

She shot Sierra a fierce glare before turning around and leaving.

Sierra watched her walk away and let out a deep sigh.

The misunderstanding between her and Janice seemed to have deepened even further, but what surprised her even more was how much Theo had helped her without her even knowing. '

Back when the teacher agreed to give her another chance, it was probably because Theo had spoken on her behalf, and yet, he had never once mentioned it to her.

So, she was filled with a complicated mix of emotions.

In the afternoon, Sierra returned home, but as soon as she got out of the car, she saw Benson's car parked right outside her neighborhood.
