A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Chapter 147 Delivering Milk

Sierra's gaze darkened, and she pretended not to see him as she walked into her neighborhood.

Benson got out of his car and quickly stepped forward to block her in her path.

"Cee, I want to talk to you," he said as he grabbed Sierra's hand with a sincere expression.

"I have nothing to say to you," Sierra retorted coldly, trying to shake his hand off, but he only tightened his grip.

"I've made Sophie resign, promised to never see her again, and apologized to you," Benson said in a low voice as he stared at her intently. "Can't you see the effort I've been putting in to change?"

"Let go of me!" Sierra did not want to speak to him and began to struggle harder.

However, her impatience and annoyance only infuriated him. "Do you really hate so much now that you won't even have a proper conversation with me?"

Sierra met his gaze and nodded without hesitation. "Yes. I have nothing to say to you."

Benson looked at her and let out a cold laugh. "Even if you have nothing to say, I won't let you go. I've already told Grandpa that we'll get married before the end of the year."

"I won't marry you."

"Who would you marry me if not me? Whoever dares to take what's mine will learn the cost of crossing me," Benson threatened as his expression darkened.

Sierra's face was red with anger. Fortunately, the neighborhood security guard noticed the commotion and quickly stepped in to pull Benson away.

"It's you again!" The security guard recognized Benson and immediately frowned. He added, "Harassing a woman like this is illegal, you know!"

Benson glanced at Sierra and turned to leave without another word.

The security guard watched him drive away before turning to Sierra in concern. "Ms. Shaw, are you okay?"

She nodded, saying, "It's fine. Thank you."

"You're welcome. But this is not a solution if he continues harassing you like this. Why don't you call the police?" the guard suggested.

Sierra lowered her eyes and said softly, "It won't do anything."

"You're right. The police would probably just give him a warning, and he'd still come to harass you. Ms. Shaw, maybe you shouldnoveldrama

consider moving. That way net

won't

be able to find you," the guard advised kindly.

Sierra pursed her lips. She did

consider moving, but no matter

where she moved to, Benson

always manage to find her. Running away was not the best solution.

She raised her eyes slightly, pale and forced a faint smile. "Thank you, sir. I'll consider it."

"No problem," the guard smiled, then remembered the milk in the security room.

He quickly added, "Oh, by the way, Ms. Shaw, a gentleman came by an hour ago to deliver milk for you. It's still in the security room."

"Milk?"

Sierra was puzzled but still followed the guard to the security room. When she saw the two bottles of milk, she was momentarily stunned.

"What did the person who delivered the milk look like?"

The guard couldn't quite describe the man, so he pulled up the surveillance footage for her to have a look.

A look of surprise flashed across her beautiful eyes when she saw Adrian's face on the screen.

The guard asked, "You know him, right?"

Sierra nodded. "He's a friend of mine."

"That's good. As long as it's not someone with ulterior motives. He said someone will come every day to deliver fresh milk for you, Ms. Shaw."

Sierra opened one of the bottles and took a sip. The richness and sweetness of

the milk spread in her mouth, making her eyes light up.

It tasted exactly like the milk she had at the restaurant yesterday.

She had really liked it at the time. However, she hadn't said anything, yet Theo

had somehow managed to tell she liked it.
