A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Chapter 190 Making Things Difficult

Sierra said, "Mrs. Gray, you don't need to use Grandpa Edward to guilt-trip me. He has always been kind to me, which was why I chose not to expose everything Benson did to me when we were at Gray Manor. Even if he finds out now and blames me, I will accept it willingly."

She showed no fear in the face of Janet's threats, and her gaze was clear and unwavering.

Janet felt a surge of anger just looking at the cold indifference on her beautiful face.

Liam's expression darkened as well. After a long pause, he finally spoke, "Sierra, for the sake of the time Benson once saved you, can't you let this slide just once?"

Sierra's expression shifted slightly. Her fingers, which were resting on the blanket, slowly curled into a fist.

After a long silence, she looked up and said slowly, "Mr. Gray, please tell Benson that once he gets out, he is not to interfere in my life again."

"Cee—" Madison frowned, surprised that Sierra had actually relented.

She wanted to protest, but Sierra reached out and held her hand to stop her.

Liam studied her calm yet distant expression and gave a small nod. "I'm sorry for everything, Sierra. Don't worry, as soon as Benson is released, I will personally bring him to apologize to you."

"That won't be necessary." Sierra cut in coldly. "I don't want to see him."

Liam sighed lightly and nodded. "Alright."

Janet pursed her lips in dissatisfaction, making no effort to hide her displeasure.

Sierra didn't want to see Benson? Ha, she'd see about that and make sure Benson never laid eyes on this wretched woman again.

"One more thing," Sierra called out.noveldrama

Janet's face stiffened. She knew it-there was no way Sierra would let this go so easily. Sure enough, here it came.

"Go ahead. What do you want? Money, or something else?"

Her voice dripped with disdain and condescension.

Sierra cast her an indifferent glance and said in an icy tone, "Benson doesn't have

to apologize to me because I don't want to see him. But he must sincerely apologize to my senior. And he must pay for both his medical expenses and emotional damages."

Janet hadn't expected such a request. Her expression shifted slightly before she let out a scoff. "I can pay extra for the medical and emotional damages, but an apology? That's unnecessary."

She knew Benson well-his pride was everything. Forcing him to apologize would be a direct blow to his self-esteem.

"How is it unnecessary?" Sierra's face darkened instantly upon hearing those words. Her voice turned even colder. "Benson must apologize to my senior in person."

Her tone was firm and resolute, leaving no room for negotiation.

"Sierra, you know Benson's personality, yet you're deliberately making things difficult for him?" Janet seethed with fury, and her voice trembled with anger.

"He hurt someone. Isn't an apology the bare minimum? If you refuse to agree, then please leave. I need to rest."

Sierra cast a glance at the two bodyguards standing nearby.

Immediately, the bodyguards stepped forward, their expressions stern as they addressed Janet. "Please leave and do not disturb Ms. Shaw's rest."

Janet was so furious she nearly lost her breath.

"Sierra is right. Benson made a mistake. An apology is non-negotiable. Janet, stop making a scene. If you keep this up, then Benson can just stay where he is and not come out at all."

Liam's tone was heavy with displeasure, his patience wearing thin.

Janet saw the look in his eyes. Even though she was still furious and unwilling to back down, she had no choice but to swallow her anger for the sake of Benson.
