Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 1191

Downstairs, the quartet was playing poker.

Ivan came out of the kitchen, and Debra called him over.

When Marion came down, Randy randomly placed a card on the table and said, "What did you guys talk about? Why is it that even Debra can't listen?"

"Private matter," Marion replied, noticing their signals under the table.

They were teaming up against Ivan. Marion pretended he hadn't seen anything, but Debra winked at him.

Taking the hint, he walked behind Ivan and signaled to Debra.

Ivan tossed out a card, and Debra exclaimed, "Gotcha!"

Ivan was dumbfounded, and Randy laughed, "Kid, you're still too young. Pay up."

Ivan took a deep breath and handed Debra a green note.

In just a few rounds, Ivan had already lost over a thousand dollars.

Erica deliberately spoke. "I hear that Theda has been throwing her weight about lately. Financial magazines are lining up to feature her on their covers. They say she's going to be the next big shot after Juan."

"So what if she becomes the Nichols Group's CEO?" Randy brushed it off. "We've got Debra to deal with her. We'll go find her tomorrow."

Ivan tossed out a card, and Debra won again. "Got you."noveldrama

Ivan sighed, handing over his last bill to her.

"Mrs. Houston, I'll go clean up," he said, leaving the table.

Erica lamented, "Giving up so soon? It's just a few thousand dollars."

"Take the money and laugh," Randy chimed in, pleased with their winnings. Debra signaled to Marion, who nodded and followed behind Ivan.

"Let's go," Debra said, standing up first, with Randy and Erica following her.

In the restroom, Ivan removed his earrings, necklace, and wristband. In a matter

of moments, he had assembled a tiny computer.

He was about to send out the

message about Debra's surprise et

visit to the Nichols Group tomorrow when the restroom door swung open. .

Randy clicked his tongue. "That's violent."

Ivan instinctively tried to run, but Marion quickly pinned him to the ground.

The heavy fall made Ivan numb. He was unable to get up.

Debra walked up, squatting in front of him. "Alas, we already cleared- your suspicion. Why couldn't you just hold off a little longer? You exposed yourself too soon.

She grabbed the tiny computer from his hand and tossed it to Randy.

"Take care of it," she said.

"Sure." Randy took the device and exclaimed, "What a leap for mankind! This tiny thing can send

=es. It's a waste of your talent

if you don't be an agent."
