Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 2478

Clinton had sensed the powerful aura as well and trembled from head to toe. "Yes... I'll start the engine up this very second, Your Holiness."

In the end, Augheimer and Clinton left the island. Their trip here had been fruitless, but Augheimer had finally confirmed a suspicion he had had for a long time.

The Dark Messenger was actually just a clone of the Dark Lord. They were one being, an elite from a middle dimension. Augheimer knew that he would only be able to kill the Dark Messenger even if he went all out. On top of that, doing so would surely anger the Dark Lord.

Augheimer was a religious man, an avid believer of fate. He was certain that Earth had fallen into a hopeless situation now that the Dark Lord had set his eyes on it.noveldrama

"Your Holiness? I heard that a guy named Wilbur Penn is currently searching for the Dragon Cauldrons. There's also Senior Fremont Skye, that cultivator from Dasha. I guess there are many hidden elites in the world."

Augheimer looked into the distant horizon, his gaze unreadable.

...

It was unclear how long Wilbur was unconscious this time, but he definitely fell into a deep slumber. The sun was blazing in the sky by the time he woke up, and the sand scorching to the touch as heat coursed through the air.

Wilbur released his dragon aura and quickly cooled his body down to a normal temperature. He looked up and saw a vortex of white light near him. It was clear that he had passed the test on the first level of the magical tower and would be able to get to the second level by going through the vortex.

The first challenge in this tower had pushed Wilbur to the brink of death, and he might not pass the second level. He could even die there. Thus, Wilbur did not rush to enter the next level. He flew along and quickly found the camp Johnson and his army had set up in the desert.

Wilbur was able to find water and food in the camp. After doing a thorough check, he realized that there was enough water and food there for him to stay on the first level for twenty years.

Although that seemed like a long time, it would pass quickly once he entered cultivation mode. Wilbur was delighted. At least it was guaranteed that Wilbur could cultivate for twenty years without disturbance.

He did not know how much growth he would experience after cultivating for twenty years under an energy aura that was a thousand times more concentrated than it was in the outside world, but he knew that his powers would go up significantly.

After filling himself with food, Wilbur began to cultivate. Under the support of the powerful energy aura, it was not long before Wilbur was able to understand his dragon aura more deeply. Dragon aura was ever-changing, and dragons were rarely spotted by humans. A dragon that was spotted was flawed.

Thus, Wilbur had to keep the dragon invisible, only letting it take shape right before he attacked.

One question remained. How was he going to do that?

Time ticked as Wilbur fell deep into thought, and twenty years passed by in a flash as Wilbur finally mastered the Dragon Spell.

The Dragon Spell was a special move Wilbur learned on his own. He would

channel white clouds from his dragon aura, and then a dragon. That way, the dragon could hide amidst the white clouds and come charging out when it attacked.

With the white clouds concealing the dragon, it would be able to throw the opponent off and go in for the kill in a critical moment.

The whistling wind stopped abruptly after Wilbur absorbed the dragon aura into his body. Following that, he walked into the white vortex. With a flash of bright light, Wilbur found himself on the second level of the magical tower.

He was greeted by the boundless sea. A bright moon hung in the sky, and Wilbur frowned at it. "How is it night here? It was daytime on the first level..."
