Chapter 2495
Wilbur was uncertain if his hypothesis was correct. After all, the Light Helmet was not initially infused with the power of the evil god. If the Child of Light had intentionally merged the evil god's power with the Light Armor, there would be no reason for him to discard the Light Helmet.
But if the Child of Light had no such intention, then why would the Light Gloves and Light Armor lose their invisibility?
As Wilbur's thoughts churned, he eventually reached a conclusion: Initially, the Child of Light might not have planned to battle the evil gods. After his unexpected descent into the lower dimensions following his fight with the Dark Lord in the middle dimensions, he encountered the evil gods' puppets. This led him to the idea of injecting the evil gods' power into the Light Armor.
However, since the evil gods' puppets did not appear voluntarily, the Child of Light could not find all eight puppets. As a result, the Light Armor did not absorb the power of all eight evil gods. Later, Wilbur inadvertently infused the Light Helmet with Bahamut's dark energy from Aisha. This inadvertent fusion was what had saved him today.
Although the Child of Light's approach was not the best, being swallowed by an evil god was far from ideal. It has at least ensured his survival. Understanding this, Wilbur resolved another mystery. The dark cage had suppressed his energy, which should have prevented the Light Shield from activating. Yet, the shield had protected him from Aisha's attack at a critical moment.
This was due to the trace of Bahamut's dark energy absorbed by the Light Helmet. Despite the suppression of his powers, this bit of dark energy kept him alive.
Wilbur spent several hours inside Bahamut's body before he was expelled. By then, the dark cage had exhausted its energy and dissipated with the wind, leaving Wilbur to be ejected with Bahamut's waste.
Freed from his confinement, Wilbur's body emitted a radiant white glow. He spotted a nearby pond and leaped into it, causing a splash that rose several meters high.

"What was that sound?"
Aisha turned her head towards the pond. Although she did not see Wilbur, she noticed the ripples on the surface of the pond. Shock flashed in her eyes, and she angrily exclaimed, "That damn fool! He's still alive!"
Splash!
Before Aisha could finish her sentence, Wilbur burst out of the water, soaring into the air with trailing white droplets. Aisha glared at him with icy eyes and hissed, "You wretched creature, how are you still alive? No, you can't be. I must kill you!"
Without listening to Aisha's words, Wilbur tore a strip of cloth from his clothing and tied it over his eyes. Bahamut's greatest power lay in its eyes. By avoiding its gaze, Wilbur could evade its binding spell. All he wanted now was a quick battle to defeat Bahamut.
His dragon aura spread over an area with an 800-meter radius, allowing Wilbur to sense Bahamut's exact location. Even without his sight, he knew precisely where Bahamut was.
