If this went on, all the energy in the liquid ball would be gone in a matter of minutes and it would be a walk in the park to kill Adam then. The thought made Wilbur rather pleased, but it did not last very long before the liquid ball came hurtling toward the thunder dragon above it.

The liquid ball seemed to be hellbent on a fight to the death, crashing into the thunder dragon directly. The thunder dragon dove into the liquid ball at the last second, exploding inside it. A deafening sound rang through the air as a powerful wave of energy spread out.

The explosion drained half of the liquid ball's energy, which Wilbur was overjoyed to see. After all, that would mean that half of Adam's powers had been drained.

Just then, Adam's face appeared on the surface of the liquid ball as he glowered at Wilbur murderously. "I'll make sure I kill you today even if it's the last thing I do!"

"Oh, yeah? Why don't you give it a try?"

The face disappeared off the liquid ball after Adam's words as it continued to rise and crash into Wilbur. Wilbur activated the Light of Dragon at once, and the golden dragon wrapped around his right arm as he hurled out an Azure Dragon Spear with his left hand.

The azure dragon appeared but dissolved into dust within the blink of an eye as the liquid ball continued to rise. Wilbur let out a cry, soaring downwards and aiming a punch at the ball.

The golden dragon shot out of Wilbur's right arm, charging towards the liquid ball and entering it before exploding.

A powerful wave of energy spread out, and black miasma dissipated into the air. Adam's powers had decreased by another twenty percent, and Wilbur was also knocked backward from the powerful energy.

"You're going to die!"

Adam, who looked positively feral now, came sprinting toward Wilbur. Wilbur summoned the Magic Dragon Blade, flying downward and swinging it against Adam. The black sword aura was absorbed by the liquid ball, and Wilbur stabbed his sword into it.

The Magic Dragon Blade was sucked into the liquid ball as they collided. Black liquid climbed up the sword onto Wilbur's body, spreading out at top speed before pulling him into the ball altogether.

Wilbur was surrounded by the black liquid in the ball, which radiated a powerful suction force as if it was trying to absorb all of the power in his body. Adam's voice echoed through the air then. "Took long enough for this day to happen, didn't it, Wilbur Penn? Do you remember how you humiliated me back then? Now, you're going to become my food."noveldrama

Wilbur could feel his energy draining out of him, used to nourish Adam's power instead. If this were to go on, Wilbur would be drained dry within a minute and Adam's words would come true.

Wilbur gritted his teeth. Was he just going to die by Adam's hand like this?

Just then, Wilbur's Light Helmet emitted a brilliant white glow. A defensive barrier made of the power of light appeared around Wilbur, followed by a gray aura around the barrier forming a second layer of protection.

Wilbur could still feel the energy being drained from his body even after the light barrier appeared, but that sensation promptly stopped once the gray aura showed up.

It was replaced with energy channeled back into his own body endlessly. Wilbur

was shocked. He was now draining Adam's energy instead of the other way around.
