"Earth..." Wilbur mumbled to himself before asking, "Senior Tenin, can I know how things are on Earth? Can I really save it?"

Tenin smiled wordlessly, raising a hand to gently swipe at the air in front of him. A screen appeared, and Wilbur could see on it that nine abnormal formations had appeared on Earth.noveldrama

An enormous cloud of black miasma was billowing out of the core of all nine formations, soaring into the sky and quickly spreading out to form a black cloud in the air. As the black miasma grew, the cloud continued to do so as well.

The dark cloud started to cover more and more of the sky around the world as a black energy aura came rolling over. Tragedy seemed to strike along with it, and the people began to grow impatient and violent under its effect.

"What the... What's going on here? Why is this happening?" Wilbur exclaimed, confused.

Tenin stroked his beard. "This Dark Lord is no normal being. He laid out his plans extremely well. He knew that the dark energy in the lower dimensions would be stronger, and he never wanted to serve someone else in the first place. That's why he came to the lower dimensions on his own. By chance, he was also able to find the map of the ancient formation. He managed to activate it and release the dark energy from within. The Dark Lord is very ambitious. He's now successfully laid down nine ancient formations around the world and activated them to release the dark energy that was sealed in the past. If he gets away with this, there's going to be a lot of trouble."

Wilbur was shocked by those words. He then asked, "Senior Tenin, what's going to happen once the Dark Lord's plan goes through? Will I still be able to save Earth?"

Tenin shook his head. "That would be impossible. If the Dark Lord gets ahead, he'll become the ninth evil god after Bahamut. Evil gods exist in the chaotic realm outside of the universe, and the Dark Lord will definitely make Earth his quarters then. He will transfer Earth straight to the chaos realm, and all the people will become his servants there. Earth will be completely under the evil gods' control then."
