Living With My Lady Boss

The Dark Lord was furious at the sight of the growing cube dimension. He darted over until he was above the dimension and struck the cube with a heavy blow.

The cube dimension cracked at once, then exploded into countless little pieces. Wilbur leaped into the air, facing the Dark Lord before landing a punch to his chest.

Wilbur moved too quickly for the Dark Lord to react, and a golden dragon appeared in the air before soaring through the Dark Lord's chest. The powerful dragon aura tossed the Dark Lord into the air, and the golden dragon suddenly expanded in size. It flicked its tail against the Dark Lord, sending him flying into the dark clouds in the sky.

The golden dragon disappeared after that. Wilbur looked at the clouds, preparing himself for a battle. Yet over a dozen seconds ticked by, and the Dark Lord was nowhere to be seen. All of a sudden, the ancient formation below grew rampant as it released black miasma hundreds of times more quickly.

The countless wisps of black miasma soared into the air. Wilbur was pushed a dozen or so meters forward because of it before moving out of the black miasma and appearing outside of the black pillar.

Wilbur frowned, muttering to himself, "What on earth is he trying to do?"

Just then, the voice from before rang in Wilbur's head once more. "Oh no, he's become one with the ancient formation and absorbing the dark energy through his original form. We have to stop him, or he's only going to grow more and more powerful."noveldrama

"Got it."

Wilbur had no time to waste, soaring into the heavens. He was shocked at the sight that greeted him in the dark clouds.

Three identical Dark Lords had appeared in front of Wilbur, all three of them having created defensive barriers that they were using to absorb the dark energy. Wilbur promptly snapped out of his stupor. "Which one is his main body?"

The voice in his head said, "I'm not sure. We need to try each one and see if we can distract him."

"Okay!"

Wilbur summoned the Azure Dragon Spear, darting toward the Dark Lord on the left and hurling the spear at him. The Dark Lord faded away at the last second, causing the spear to go right through as Wilbur stared on in shock."

"That's not the main body! Quick, don't hesitate anymore!"

"Okay!"

Wilbur tried again, but the second Dark Lord also faded away. He turned to the Dark Lord on the far right, and the Azure Dragon Spear also passed right through the Dark Lord.

Wilbur was truly shocked by the outcome. He turned around and saw that all three Dark Lords had faded away, but there was still a powerful energy aura in the air here. Could the Dark Lord have hidden himself?

Just as he was pondering the possibilities, the voice rang once more in Wilbur's head. "This is bad. He's been cultivating to be an evil god from the start, and evil gods don't have a physical form! He has become half an evil god and hidden his main body on purpose while he absorbs more dark energy through those three invisible figures!"

"What? He's halfway there? Are you saying that the Dark Lord's going to become an evil god really soon?"

Wilbur knew exactly what evil gods were capable of, and if the Dark Lord succeeded, Wilbur would be going up against one. The thought gave Wilbur

immense pressure, and he asked, "Is there a way to stop him now?"
