"At least five billion. All you have to do after that is wait, and the dividends will come to you."

Wilbur took a deep breath. "Can you give me a copy of the Satan Robot's blueprint, then? After all, you're the one who calls the shots on the dividend payout."

"You're overthinking the matter, Mister Penn. Do you really think I'd be that kind of guy? Don't worry. The blueprint's with me. Professor Dickens, the inventor of the robot, was killed, but the blueprint has already been made, so the project can continue without any issues."

"Can I take a look at the blueprint?"

"Of course."

Fawkes opened a safe, taking out the blueprint of the Satan Robot. Wilbur flipped through it, asking, "Did that Professor Dickens guy really get killed?"

"Yes. It seems like Johnson killed him."

Fawkes then told Wilbur about his agreement with Huck. Fawkes, at the end of the day, was just a businessman. He needed people like Huck working for him, but the Scorpion Killers had an internal conflict that led to all their members being killed.

That was why Fawkes had agreed to Wilbur's request to invest. Fawkes wanted Wilbur to be in charge of the special dealings in the future, which would help maintain Fawkes' own identity as a regular businessman living a normal life.

"W-What did you just say?"

Fawkes frowned at Wilbur, whose disguise melted off to show his real face. Fawkes fell backward in shock, his face turning pale. "Wilbur Penn? It's you!"

Wilbur summoned the thunder cleaver just as the man in the suit from earlier came rushing in. The man aimed his pistol at Wilbur, firing two shots in a row.

The bullets stopped in mid-air before flying backward and hitting the man in the suit. Fawkes had climbed to his feet by then and started running out of the room.

"You can't escape, Fawkes."

Just then, the ground began to shake tremendously. Wilbur stumbled slightly, and by the time he caught his balance, Fawkes had charged out of the room. Wilbur scrambled to chase after him and saw Fawkes staring at him from the elevator while pressing wildly on the button to shut the door.

Wilbur muttered a spell and an Azure Dragon Spear appeared in his grasp. He hurled it out, and it pierced through Fawkes' chest just as the elevator doors shut.

The ground began to shake violently again the next second. Wilbur hurried up the stairs to the ground floor. Everyone was running for their lives, trying to get away from the mine.

All of a sudden, Wilbur's phone rang with a call from Beverly.

"Hi, Beverly."

Beverly seemed to be in a panic as she said, "Urgent news, Deacon Penn. The special formation near Rindo Mine broke out of its restrictions and activated itself. There's now a beast in the mine. The department hopes you can get rid of the best."

"Got it."

Wilbur ended the call and looked up. A vortex made of black aura spewed out of the mine, creating an enormous suction force. Wilbur managed to hold himself in place with his powers, but everyone else within a hundred-meter radius of the cave was sucked in mercilessly.
