"No, I can't, but the energy from the Night Demon allowed me to override some restrictions."

"I see."

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you. The seal would disappear if I did that, and Kaiser would know at once. I might end up getting sealed off until the end of time if he comes looking for me, and I have no intention of living in a sealed-off dimension for thousands of years."

"Is that why you're willing to work with me?"

"Yes, I guess you could say that. I don't see anything bad about that, though. We're just using each other, at the end of the day. I can help you, and your experiences will teach me some things as well."

"So, this was planned?"

"Yes. Senior Kaiser arranged all of this. I admit I've made some mistakes in the past, and I see that clearly now. I hope you'll give me a chance to work together."

Wilbur frowned. "What does that entail?"

The Dark Lord said, "I'm saying that we keep this from Senior Kaiser."

"Okay."

"Thank you. I'll kill the last two Night Demons for you as a token of my gratitude."

Wilbur left the fishing village, wandering around the mountains for half a month. One day, he stumbled upon a village named Gemglass Village. He walked inside and saw that all the villagers were hard at work creating bronze mirrors.

The finished mirrors would be put in a cart and wheeled into town to be sold. The mirrors Gemglass Village made were of splendid quality, and thus there had always been a steady stream of customers. It never took long for the carts to sell out once they reached town.

Thus, mirror crafting had become the main line of work for Gemglass Village. The air was filled with the sounds of polishing glass as Wilbur walked around. He found this rather curious and stopped an old man to ask about it.

"Sir, why is everyone here polishing mirrors?"

The old man glanced at Wilbur and smiled. "You must be from out of town. This is Gemglass Village, and all our villagers make a living by crafting bronze mirrors. That's what you're seeing right now."

"Bronze mirrors?" Wilbur asked, confused. "Is there no other line of work here? How are all these mirrors even getting sold off?"

Wilbur was the chairman of Cape International and knew a thing or two about business. If every household within a certain location was mass producing the same thing, it was still not guaranteed that all of them would thrive at the same rate. After all, many products had a fixed demand that should be met accordingly.

Even the production of daily necessities like rice and salt followed an organized plan. That was why Wilbur was rather confused by the fact that everyone from Gemglass Village was crafting bronze mirrors.
