In the next second, the young man leaped out of the well. With a powerful stomp on the ground, a dark aura spread out beneath his feet in all directions as he looked at Wilbur. "I dare you to come in with me."

"Sure." Wilbur accepted the challenge and entered the young man's domain at once. It was a dark domain, and the two of them were the only people there.

They stared at each other for a while before the young man used his mind to form a large bronze mirror. "This is a special mirror. Do you dare to enter the world beyond it?"

"I'll try anything once."

The young man smirked. "Very well. Come with me, then."

He then walked into the mirror, and Wilbur followed after him.

White light flashed through the air, and Wilbur found himself in a utopia of sorts. The young man glanced at him, saying, "Come with me."

Wilbur flew behind the young man, who shifted his appearance to be clad in long white robes as they made their way towards a small island in the middle of a lake.

Wilbur landed on the island behind the young man, where they saw a young lady running toward them, shouting, "Darling!"

"Jade."

The young man and lady wrapped their arms around each other in a passionate embrace. Wilbur fidgeted awkwardly, letting out a cough before mumbling, "Uhh..."

The couple separated, and Jade asked, "Darling, who is this?"

The young man smiled. "He's a friend visiting from afar. This is my wife, Jade."

"Hello, sir."

"My name's Wilbur Penn. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Jade."

Wilbur and Jade bowed to each other in greeting. When Wilbur raised his head, he saw that Jade's face looked eerily pale.

The young man said, "Alright, Jade. You can head back to your room. Mister Penn and I have some things to discuss, I'll come looking for you after that."

The young man kissed Jade's hand, who turned to leave. He waited until Jade was gone to look at Wilbur. "You saw it yourself, Mister Penn. Jade and I are husband and wife, but she's plagued with a disease that requires her to feed on human beings to live. I have no choice but to kill as I do, you see. Besides, all the people from Gemglass Village who I've killed deserved to die in their own ways." "What?"
