Chapter 2578
The strange thing was that none of the snow on the enormous mountain range ever melted- save for the middle of it. There was a specific area on the peak of Snow Mountain Lydia, where the snow would thaw for two months every summer.
Wilbur furrowed his brows. "The whole area's covered in snow, which proves that the temperature there's constantly low. Why would the snow on the mountain peak thaw for two months every year?"
Something told Wilbur that Senior Fremont was most likely at the top of this snow mountain. Maybe he had learned some important lesson there and had been cultivating there ever since.
Wilbur wasted no time packing up before flying up north toward Veltris. Within half an hour, he had arrived at the Snow Mountain Lydia range.
He stood atop a pile of snow, looking around before flying towards Snow
Mountain Lydia. Wilbur began to sense Senior Fremont's energy aura and made a beeline for the peak.
Wilbur saw Senior Fremont standing there from afar. Two golden dragons forged out of dragon aura swam around him in battle, and their energy waves sent Wilbur flying backward as soon as he landed.
"Ahhh, f*ck that's powerful!" Wilbur flew a dozen meters as his jaw dropped open in shock. Senior Fremont sensed something strange in the air the next second and withdrew his dragon aura at once. The golden dragons disappeared, and fierce winds billowed in Wilbur's face.
Senior Fremont stood amidst the winds in his long, white robe. There seemed to be a thin barrier around his body that kept the wind away as he smiled at Wilbur. Not a single strand of hair of his was out of place. "You finally came, buddy. I've been waiting here for ten years."
"Senior Fremont."
Wilbur was overwhelmed with emotion, landing from mid-air at once. Yet he was sent flying by a gust of wind the very next second, zipping through the air once more. Wilbur swayed around before finally catching his balance, looking around in shock. "What's with these winds, man?"
Senior Fremont stroked his beard, chuckling at Wilbur. "What's wrong? You can't even take a little breeze?"
"Of course not!"
Wilbur looked at Fremont before releasing the dragon aura from his body to control the space within a ten-meter radius around him. He landed safely on the ground, and only a slight breeze out of the fierce winds ruffled his hair."
"You seem to be lacking a little something still."
Wilbur walked up to Fremont with a frown. "What do you mean by that, Senior Fremont?"
Fremont put his hands behind his back. "You'll find out real soon. Now, show me all the dragon cauldrons you've collected."noveldrama
"Yes, I'll do that right now."
Wilbur took out all nine dragon cauldrons from his demiplane. They had all been shattered, but Wilbur had managed to put them back together before he got here.
As he set the cauldrons onto the ground, Wilbur thought to himself, 'Since Perry said that Senior Fremont is willing to see me, that means that Senior Fremont isn't hung up on the fact that the dragon cauldrons are broken, right?'
It was just such a shame that they were broken. The Nine Dragon Cauldrons could be used to store dragon aura, but now they had been completely broken. Wilbur put them together on the ground before saying, "Here, Senior Fremont."
Just as he muttered those words, a breeze swept by and knocked the first and fifth dragon cauldrons back into pieces.
What do you think?
