Chapter 2580
That was why he was humiliating Wilbur like this, wanting him to just give up.
Well, he would just call it a case of bad faith. After another failed attempt, Wilbur got to his feet. The winds blew the cauldron pieces into the air, knocking them apart and sweeping them off the cliff.
Wilbur leaped into the air and was about to be on his way. The air flashed with golden light all of a sudden, and Senior Fremont appeared in front of him once more with a rather smug smile on his face. "Already giving up after just a few days?"
Wilbur glanced at Fremont. "This was an impossible task from the start. Since you don't want me to know the secret of the dragon clan, I should just leave."
"What? You're leaving? What about the Nine Dragon Cauldrons, then? You don't want them anymore?"
Wilbur snorted. "The Nine Dragon Cauldrons were yours to begin with, and I should be thankful enough that you're not faulting me for breaking them. I guess I'm returning them to you."
Wilbur got up to leave, but Fremont put a hand on his shoulder. "Hang on. You said you were returning the Nine Dragon Cauldrons to me?"noveldrama
"Yes. They're yours now, Senior Fremont."
"I don't actually blame you for breaking the cauldrons, but you just said that you were returning to me. The dragon cauldrons have been swept off the mountain in pieces, how would that be returning them to me? If you're sincere about it at all, please find all the pieces and put them together before giving them back to me."
Wilbur sighed, nodding his head. "I guess that's fair. It's my fault they're broken, anyway. I'll go collect all the pieces now and put them back together before I return them to you, Senior Fremont."
"That would be great, thank you."
Fremont put a hand on Wilbur's shoulder, and the both of them landed on the peak of Snow Mountain Lydia. Wilbur was about to fly off the cliff, when Fremont called out, "Wait! I want you to make your way down on foot. Try flying at all, and I'll make sure you never get out of here."
"You..."
Wilbur sighed. Fremont was far too powerful, and Wilbur was no match for him. Besides, it was Wilbur's own fault that the winds had swept the cauldron pieces off the cliff, and thus his duty to retrieve them for Senior Fremont.
"Alright. Give me a second."
Wilbur bowed to Fremont before heading down the mountain. He broke out into a sprint under the fierce winds, having grown much stronger physically after cultivating for so long. A gigantic mountain was nothing to him.
Within just a minute, Wilbur had reached the foot of the mountain. He searched around and finally found the cauldron pieces.
He returned to the peak of the mountain, beginning to assemble the Dragon Cauldrons under Senior Fremont's supervision. Just as he was about to be done, he realized that three pieces of the Three Dragon Cauldron were missing.
"Uh, about that..."
