Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1354

Mia: "..." She was still cramming for her grad school interviews, and that woman had already passed the bar? And to top it off, they'd even been classmates!

When Mia got home, she flopped on the couch and sighed, "Babe, why is there such a huge gap between people? Is it because I didn't shave my head for my exams?"

Andre grinned, "Stop overthinking it. She might have a law license, but you've got Andre as your husband. No matter how impressive she is, you're the real superstar. Come here, sweetheart, let me hold you."

Mia absentmindedly tugged at her hair, still mulling things over. Andre quickly jumped in, “Hey, remember last year, Henry shaved his head for you?"noveldrama

Mia glanced at their son's fuzzy little head. "Honey, maybe Henry could use another haircut this year?"

Little Henry slapped his hands over his ears and dashed off, terrified.

After a practice interview, both Mia and Jamie knew what to expect neither of them was nervous.

They'd prepared so well that when the professors started asking questions, they answered with confidence and ease.

Mia was the first one out. She burst outside, her mood as bright as the sunshine. She sprinted into her husband's arms. "Babe! Work hard and keep supporting your student-wife, okay?"

Andre slid his arm around her shoulders, leaned down, and kissed her right there in the middle of campus.

A few minutes later, Jamie came out too.

Denny hurried over. "Jamie, how did it go?"

Jamie tried glancing over to ask Mia about her interview, but Denny gently pulled her back. "Don't worry about Mia-she always gets top scores. The real question is, how do you feel?"

Jamie pursed her lips. "I don't really know. I guess we just have to wait and see." Denny gave her shoulder a comforting pat. "You'll do great. Don't stress."

Soon, another girl jogged up and asked Denny, "How did the two of them do?"

Mia, still buzzing with excitement, burrowed into her husband's arms, clutching his shirt, and whispered on tiptoe, "Honey, look, that girl with the short bob? That's Katie, the one l told you about-the total

powerhouse. Super disciplined, super talented. Does your company need a rockstar like that? Your wife can do some headhunting for you!"

Andre chuckled and hugged her tighter. "Let the talent stay with my Mia. You're the only lucky star I need."

The others caught the sweet couple out of the corner of their eyes and wisely kept their distance—no one wanted to interrupt their little love bubble.

When the morning session wrapped up, Katie and Denny had class, so Mia and Jamie headed out together.

Jamie dropped by Maplewood Estates to hang out with Mia, while Andre went off to work.

That afternoon, Jade called, "Hey, Mia, which house are you at?"

"Mine," Mia replied.

"Great! Tell your chef to whip up dinner for the three of us tonight Sweetie is finally weaned, so this mama is officially FREE! I want a giant, spicy chicken platter-make it extra hot and loaded with flavor!"

Once she'd ordered dinner, Jade got back to work.

At seven, Jade arrived, baby in tow. "Mia, help me grab my son for a sec, will you?"

Now that Wayne was weaned, Henry-the usually mellow big brother had started getting clingy with his mom. At night, he'd quietly crawlonto her bed, mouth open, ready to snuggle, only to get@aught by his police officer dad. Wayne, meanwhile, had been sleeping solo in his own little room-the one that used to be his mom's, now fixed up just for him.

Wayne was sitting in Henry's old stroller, giving Molly the saddest puppy eyes

ever. And then, Henry toddled over...
