Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

Chapter 880

"Stop..... please, stop..."

The bedroom was filled with intense warmth. Yvette's eyes brimmed with tears as she whimpered softly, overwhelmed. She regretted using her kisses to divert Wilson's attention...

A low chuckle escaped Wilson's throat as he placed a heated kiss on her neck, his deep, husky voice sounding calm and unhurried. "Baby, slowing down is fine, but stopping isn't."

By the time Yvette woke up the next day, it was already afternoon. She glanced down at the marks all over her body, her ears turning red in embarrassment. Sure enough, keeping an older man "restrained" for too long was dangerous! Last night, he had nearly worn her out...

With a creak, the door opened. Wilson entered in casual clothes, looking more relaxed than usual. There was a soft smile on his lips as he walked in, clearly refreshed.

"Baby, you're awake?"noveldrama

Seeing how spirited he looked, Yvette pursed her lips, unwilling to acknowledge him.

"Still sore?"

Wilson strode over to the bed, scooping her into his arms with a look of gentle concern as he began to massage her back.

Yvette shot a glance at him and let out a small huff. If he hadn't been so

inconsiderate last night, would her back be this sore?

Despite her irritation, Wilson's mood seemed great. A faint smile played on his thin

lips as he leaned down and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Will you think twice before stirring the flames again?"

The nerve of this man, acting smug after getting his way!

Yvette clicked her tongue, her tone cold and merciless. "From now on, you can go sleep in the guest room!"

Wilson was speechless.

He had really upset her!

Yvette kept her face stern as she pushed him away. She then made her way to the bathroom.

"Baby, don't be mad." He quickly caught up and gently grabbed her wrist, his tone sincere, even a bit pleading. "I was wrong."

Yvette's expression softened slightly at his words, and she didn't shake off his hand.

If she didn't put him in his place a little, this charming fox of a man would get too full of himself!

Seeing her expression ease, Wilson sighed in relief. "Yvie, can I stay out of the guest room?"

"No." Thinking of her sore back, Yvette shook her head firmly.

Upon hearing her rejection, his eyes lowered, dimming with a look of quiet hurt. It was as if he'd been wronged but didn't dare show it. It was a look that made her heart soften despite herself.

Yvette was speechless.

He was at it with that pitiful act again!

After lunch, Yvette prepared to visit Theodore.

"Let's go. We're going to see Mr. Maximillian."

They should've gone this morning, but she had slept in...

Wilson's grip on her hand tightened slightly. He murmured in her ear, his voice deep and magnetic, "Baby, I'm actually a little nervous."

Although Theodore wasn't biologically related to her, Yvette treated him like her own father. If Theodore didn't approve of Wilson...

"It's okay, Mr. Maximillian dotes on me," Yvette said reassuringly, lifting

her eyebrows lazily. "He'll see the person I like and extend his care to I

you too. He won't give you a hard time."

"The person you like..."

A charming smile instantly appeared on Wilson's handsome lips, his eyes brimming with amusement. His deep voice was particularly captivating. "How much do you like me, baby?"

Yvette was speechless.

Was that really the point here?
