Unforgettable love

Chapter 817

Chapter 817:

Elizabeth paused, “This is our family’s business, an outsider like you has no right and it is rude to interfere.”

Dolores said calmly, “I have always been a member of Theresa’s family.”

Then she tidied Theresa’s jacket and said, “Leave everything, I’ll buy you new things.”

Dolores looked at Armand, “I’m very disappointed in you, Armand. Theresa has been tolerating while you took advantage of her kindness.”

Theresa was calm too, she did not act out of haste but after careful consideration, “Think it over and come to me with the divorce paper.”

She took Dolores’ hand, “Come on.”

She didn’t want to stay here any longer, Dolores nodded and walked out hugging her.

Dolores called the driver and instructed him to wait at the entrance as they exited the elevator. The car was already waiting when they pulled into the driveway, Dolores opened the back door and helped Theresa into the car before getting in.

“Let’s go home,” Dolores instructed the driver.

The driver nodded and they headed home.

In the bedroom, what happened was beyond Elizabeth’s foresight.

Armand, who had remained kneeling on the floor since Theresa left, fell into a sitting position.

“I don’t care who you want to be with as long as you produce an heir,” Elizabeth said stubbornly. She had no regard for Armand’s feelings even after Theresa asked for a divorce.

Armand stared at one point with red-rimmed eyes, “A son?”

“Dora is still a virgin, she agreed to have your child with only one hundred and fifty thousand dollars,” Elizabeth explained as Dora looked at the floor.

Armand didn’t seem surprised by Elizabeth’s strange suggestion. He smiled slightly and looked up at Dora, “Do you agree?”. Dora was still silently glancing at the ground.

“She’s still young, don’t scare her.” Elizabeth didn’t know exactly what Armand was thinking now, he was smiling, but it wasn’t sincere.

“Is this the reason you insisted on hiring a young caregiver?” Armand said as he slowly stood up pushing the floor with his hands. “What if I refuse?” asked Armand, swaying.

“What’s wrong with you? It’s no big deal, all you have to do is get Dora pregnant and continue your life with Theresa. You don’t have to separate from Theresa at the same time you’re going to have a child, isn’t that good?” Elizabeth thought this was the best solution, good for everyone.

Armand’s lips quivered. “A child? Excellent! What a great plan this is.”

A resounding noise followed as he overturned the little table, the glass shattering to pieces on the floor and creating a tangled mess.

Elizabeth turned pale as Dora, who was behind her, stood a step behind.

Both were startled by her action and froze for a while.

“Armand!” called Elizabeth nervously, “Calm down.”

“I’m not upset. You have it all planned out for me. Sending me a woman, worrying about my future generation, there’s nothing I should be upset about, I should be grateful to you.” He walked over to Elizabeth, put his hands on the handles of the wheelchair and stared at her.

Elizabeth tried to stay calm.

“I come from a poor family and I’m willing to be a surrogate mother. I’m just asking for money, I won’t make trouble.” Dora said as she returned to her original position.

Armand looked up as Dora didn’t avoid him and looked back at him.

“You just want money, you won’t create a problem?” Armand smiled.

“Yes, that’s right.” Dora looked sincere.

Armand smiled coldly, “You proposed the idea to Grandma.”

“No, I didn’t…”

“It was my idea.” Elizabeth immediately defended Dora and, indeed, it was her idea. Dora was young and average looking, so she asked him not to know what she thought; surprisingly, he agreed.

Armand straightened up angrily and plopped down on the couch, resting one foot on the upturned table. He looked at Dora and judged her, “Where did you graduate to?”.noveldrama

Dora looked down, “I never went to college.”

“What are your strengths?”

“I’m a caregiver.” Dora thought Armand questioned because he agreed. “If I could make a hundred and fifty thousand dollars being a surrogate mother, I’d quit being a caregiver and open a fashion store or something.”

She had never thought about staying at the Bernie, she knew it wasn’t a wise decision since she entered the nursing home as a caregiver, her impression as a caregiver meant her status would always be lower than others.

She thought Armand was handsome and rich, she lost nothing in this deal, one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in only ten months was worth it.

“Are you good at pleasing a man?” Armand gave the impression of being calm, but his words were sharp as a knife.

“Armand…”

“I’m asking her, Grandma, can you not interrupt?” Armand said without even giving Elizabeth a glance. He picked up a handkerchief to wipe his hands, but couldn’t get the dirt off, so he threw it away.

“I can learn,” Dora replied with her head down.

“Learn? You don’t know anything and you want to make a hundred and fifty thousand dollars just from your uterus?”

Armand glared at her. “First of all, you have no education, secondly, you know nothing about how to please a man. You are not beautiful, skin is not fair without a good body shape. You give the impression of being cheap and unworthy of receiving one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. If you are willing to sell, I may consider it. A pound of prime pork is about five dollars fifty, I can offer you six dollars, Deal?”

Dora bit her lips, “Stop humiliating me, it was Madame’s idea, I agreed as good will to produce a son for you.”

“Oh, must I always be grateful then?” Armand lost his temper and kicked the table several times. “Get lost now! And you will receive a letter of complaint.”

“What have I done wrong?” Dora couldn’t believe Armand was going to throw her out.

“Calm down, Armand.” Elizabeth didn’t know that Armand would also take such an extreme measure, she said quietly, “Listen to me and fulfill my dream, produce a child, will you?”

Armand picked up the jacket from the floor, put it on his arm and looked fiercely at Dora, “Get lost now, Or do you want to go to jail? I can easily send you if you want.”

It was the first time Dora had seen a vicious side of Armand. She was frightened, but tried to stay strong: “I didn’t do anything wrong, you can’t send me to jail on a whim, there are laws.”
