Rejected the alpha mate 241
Chapter 241
Chapter 241
Third POV
It was 9PM when all of the contestants had gathered to have dinner that they were called in the conference room for an urgent meeting, Daisy’s hapes rose. Abandoning her food, she hurried to the room along with Jade and Haley. Both of them were excitedly talking about how they would celebrate
after this.
The three of them came to sit right in front of the audience. Daisy noticed that Summer was standing with Tamara and Luna Auren, and she was looking even more beautiful. Like she was glowing. Jealousy reared its head inside her, and she felt like killing Summer. She had no business to look so healthy and pink, when she had been simmering in rage and anxiety for last three days.
Tarama started, “There was a serious allegation on one of our contestants, Summer, regarding wicked deed. She was accused of poisoning the pack members.” Her eyes met Daisy’s for a moment, and then went to the screen that was hanging behind them. “We all take this very seriously. If found guilty, we are going to ban her forever from entering the trials.”
voice, “There she goeeessss!”
Daisy pursed her lips to not smile, but the excitement inside her built a notch higher.
got ill that day after eating the pasta prepared by Summer. Our pathologists confirmed Tamara said, “The pack doctors examined the patients wh presence of poison in it. A mixture of deadly nightshade and belladonna was found in it. And this proves that the food was indeed poisoned.”
A collective gasp emerged from the audience and murmurs of how pathetic the human was, erupted. Daisy couldn’t help feeling elated. Her plan worked beautifully.
Tamara remained quiet for a while as she scanned the crowd, while Summer clasped her hands and stood on the podium like a culprit. Daisy scoffed. She dared to be snarky with her? Now taste the consequences. How neatly she eliminated her forever.
Tamara’s eyes came to Daisy and she said, “However, after an intense investigation into it, we wondered how would Summer find that poison? Both the herbs are grown in controlled places in all the werewolf packs because they are potent poisons. It’s not like we grow them wild.”
Daisy shifted on her feet, her heart beating fast.
“For Summer to have those herbs, she must have access to the facility where we grow them,” Tamara continued. “But she didn’t go out of the resort other than to meet Laura, and to the woods for Nesting trials. She doesn’t have the idea that werewolves have such facility in their packs. How would she? I mean, would she know that those herbs would act like poison to werewolves? Werewolves aren’t affected by normal herbs, like humans.”
Daisy paled. She clenched her jaw. Next to her, her friends stepped back, blood draining from their face,
“The kind of poison found in the traces of pasta was a mixture used by someone who knew about it very well.”
“B–but that doesn’t prove that Summer didn’t poison!” Daisy blurted. “She could’ve acquired it from somewhere.”
Tamara nodded. “Sure, why not? But now I’d like you all to see this video footage of tha
“Fuck!” Jade rasped. She caught Haley’s hand, tears welling in her eyes.
day.”
Tamara pressed a button on the remote in her hand, and the video started. They all stepped aside for everyone to see the video. And in it, they saw Jade and Haley sprinkling a green and purple powder over the seasoning Summer used to make pasta.
A loud gasp, excited murmurs and deadly glares came their way.
“Goddess, such bitches!” a she–wolf on the right exclaimed.
“They tried to poison the innocent pack members.”
“They should be thrown in the dungeons.”

Chapter 241
“How could they do this to poor Summer?”
“She is so innocent.”
“Luna Tamara did right to take Summer under her protection. Who knew Jade and Haley would have killed her as well?”
Daisy felt like someone had driven a hard punch to her gut. For a moment, she couldn’t breathe as she stared at the video.
Suddenly, Jade cried loudly. “This wasn’t our plan!”noveldrama
Daisy whipped her head to look at her. “Shut up!” she hissed.
Haley cried louder. “This is wrong. We were used as pawns. It was Daisy’s plan to add the poison!”
“Oh. My. Goddess!” girl around them said. “So vicious.”
“Are you insane?” Daisy shouted. “Why are you pulling me in this? Just because you are friends doesn’t mean that you can blame me for what you’ve done.”
Jade and Haley’s mouth dropped as they stared at Daisy with disbelief. “But it was you-”
“Enough!” Daisy shouted at them. “Don’t drag me into your dirty deed. How can you do that to me? I’ve supported you in every possible way, and now you’ve stabbed a dagger in my back?”
A loud clap sounded in the room. It was Tamara. She chuckled as the sound of her claps boomed in the room. Everyone became quiet. “Nice show, Daisy,” she scoffed. “Did you think that we couldn’t trace the people who brought poison from the Graymon pack?”
A stone dropped in her belly. “Wh–what?” Daisy rasped. “What are you saying?”
Tamara sighed. Summer picked up an envelope and handed to her. She lifted it up in the air and showed it to all. “This is an envelope that had the poison. It was retrieved from the trash bag of Daisy’s room. And the wolf who brought the poison in our pack was nabbed the same day when this incident occurred. We were only waiting for the lab reports to confirm this crime.”
Daisy felt like the earth slipped beneath her. “No! Th–this is-”
There was a deadly silence in the room now as everyone shot glares at her.
“We take crimes against our pack members very seriously,” Tamara/said. “And so we have called your fathers to the pack to discuss the severity of the crime. All three of you will be put in the dungeons for three month’s, and are banned from entering the Luna trials forever!”
“Noooo!” Jade cried. “Please, Luna Tamara, no! I did it because Daisy wanted it. Sh–she wants to be the Luna of the Shadowfang pack.”
Tamara glared at Daisy, who looked like she had seen a ghost. She couldn’t speak anything, her mind going numb. How did this happen? Did she underestimate Summer and Tamara?
“Guards!” Luna Auren’s loud voice sounded. The warriors, who Daisy didn’t even see, came from somewhere like a storm. They surrounded the three of them. “Take them to the dungeons!”
“No!” Haley shouted, bawling hard. But the guards pinned her down, cuffed her, and took her away along with Daisy and Jade.
Tamara switched off the video. She turned to Summer and hugged her. “Sorry for all this nonsense.”
Summer hugged her back. “Thank you for supporting me, Tammy.”
“Any time,” Tamara replied as Luna Auren watched them with a kind smile. How she hoped for the trials to end fast, and hold wedding ceremony for Summer and Bradley.
